Hello, everyone! Nice to meet you all, I'm Serenessa. While my RP experience is a bit on the newbie side, I do have an extensive background in writing, and so I've come here to meet fellow writers and potential partners for roleplays! I'm still learning what I like when it comes to RP, but I definitely have my hallmarks as a writer:
  • I write 3rd person, limited. I rarely do 1st person just because it's easy for this perspective to bleed into real life (but if the right story hits, I'm still willing to try it out).
  • I write novella length, no less than 1k if I have the space/character limit for it. I enjoy writing the character's perspective/thoughts, and how they interact with other characters and the setting. It's absolute fun!
  • While I don't normally write NSFW stuff, I don't mind elements of it IF the story calls for it or just naturally blooms from romance-based plots. It's normal IRL, so it's fine with me when it comes to writing. But buildup is critical!
  • I don't mind playing either male or female. I can easily switch from one to another; character is what makes a dynamic character.
  • I must confess: my favorite RP setting is medieval/fantasy. I'm just a sucker for it, haha.
I'm sure there's other details I've neglected to mention, but that's me! I look forward to getting to know you all! :blush:

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there!

However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure! If you were looking for an open story you can just jump in straight away, you can find them in Unfinished Tales!​


Next, I've created A Sanctum Tour to help find a lot of cool places on site! There's plenty to do while waiting on replies or to give yourself a break every now and then! But, these are some of my favorites! The first shout out goes to The Sanctum Tavern! Here you can find many a thing! By the Hearth can be found there and has many wonderful discussions; my personal favorite is where everyone talks up their writing partners! Want to see some cute pets or share your own? Welcome, Serenessa! We have a lot of medieval and fantasy writers on the forum, so I'm sure you'll be lost in stories very soon~ :rainbow:
