Hi there! I'm Viper. I started rping about twenty years ago on Neopets, which is just an insane thing to type. I spent about 10 years off and on proboards. I've been out of the RP game for dang near a decade and am super excited (albeit a little confused lol) by the open world concept!

I used to be a very prolific writer and valued long posts, but now I'm much more interested in quality writing that productively moves the plot along. Only got a paragraph in you today? Cool. I accept this offering and shall respond with my own paragraph. I fully understand and respect that sometimes there just aren't enough spoons to write something lengthy but you still wanna post.

HOWEVER. Consistent grammar and spelling errors make my eye twitch. No one is perfect, but text filled with too many errors will immediately turn me off. I will likely try and find a gentle way to suggest you edit your work and let me know when edits have been completed. I do my best to be diplomatic and kind, but I'm AuDHD so often I come across extremely blunt.

Other random things about me:

• I'm a stay at home mom to two small children who I also homeschool.
• I read tarot, oracle cards, and runes.
• I crochet.
• I'm writing a series of horror short stories inspired by outdated English words.
• Chaos makes more sense to me than routine (thank you trauma and ADHD).
• I think I'm funny.

Genres I like to read and plot within:

• High fantasy
• Historical fiction
• Dystopian
• Supernatural
• Horror
• (This is not an all inclusive list, just what's popping up for my brain at this moment).

All that being said, I both have a lot of time to write/plot and such and have very little time. My availability goes up and down with my emotional load, but I'm good at communicating where I'm at and when my energy is waning.

I just deleted Facebook, so I'm looking for something to fill my doom scrolling time. Won't you help me hyperfixate on writing? (Plots to come at some point when my brain is less soup like)

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there! However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure!
