I have been writing ever since I discovered online forums such as this so for about 3 years. I took a break from my old site and once I had the time to come back I realised I needed a fresh new site with new people to get really stuck in again. Low and behold this site came across my way and I have to say I'm pretty impressed and it's got my drive to write again.
So here I am. And if you're still reading, great! I'll shall get on with telling you the genres I like to write.
Personally, I love a fully fleshed out idea to write, something that's worth a read and a reply that really gets my partner wanting to reply and engage with me.
My genres include:
Sci-Fi - Anything future based, dystopian based or anything Passengers esk to it.
Fantasy - Probably my favourite genre as it's one I started out with and have only improved on. I don't need to elaborate here I like all kinds of fantasy with mixed worlds or solely fantasy ruled worlds.
Apocalypse - Flu Virus, Raging Zombies, Alien Invasion, Androids taking over the world? Count me in.
Medieval/Historical - Anything in the past, mostly including the medieval period and Viking era. But I'm open to any sort of period in time.
Crime/Detective - This ones vague because it can include the above but I'm down for a stand-alone.
These really are only a few and I'm open to new ideas and feel I can adapt well. I am looking forward to getting to know you all and hope I can settle in as easy as this place looks welcoming! Thank you for reading.
