Hello, forum! I am Diane! English is not my first language (or my culture, for that matter), but I think I can fend myself pretty decently. I enjoy writing, actually, probably more than anything else, even if the tools for doing so are often foreign to me. Mistakes will be made, and I will have dumb questions: be warned.
I am not versed in forum roleplaying. This will be my first time! But I'll learn the ropes, I'll carry my own weight. I just hope not to step into too many toes in the process.
I do exclusively 1st person roleplaying. I like to dwell on the thoughts of the character. It helps me to find the particular voice and personality of that character throughout the process of roleplaying. That doesn't mean I can't play multiple characters; I tend to do so from a witness perspective.
I tend to do modern settings, though I'm not allergic to fantasy or sci-fi elements. It's just a language thing. I lack the vocabulary for a setting filled with objects I don't know the names of.
That being said, let's all have fun, shall we?
