Hello people,
I am someone new to text-based RP. I've loved playing D&D, particularly the roleplay-heavy aspects, for years - but haven't ever found myself doing written RP before. Writing has always been one of my loves but I haven't found an excuse to for ages, so this should be a good new opportunity to stretch those muscles and serve as another creative outlet other than art. I'm still figuring out how to navigate this website and how to approach a text-based RPing situation in general, therefore my apologies in advance if small mistakes are made!
In terms of what I'm looking for, really anything - I love fantasy, whether high, dark, historical fantasy and so on. I'm not super into fandom stuff so OC-based content might suit me better.
And my timezone is GMT!
Thanks & looking forward to sharing stories together :^):bee:

First, read the recent roleplay request threads that other people made in the Roleplay Request Section. Roleplay Request Threads

If you find a potential writer you are interested in among already existing requests, write them a private message. In the private message describe what exactly you are interested in writing about.

If you don't find a partner that way, create a request thread of your own and wait for someone to message you. Here is the very general guideline on how to create a request thread. Note, it's just a rough guideline for those who have no idea what they are doing. If you know what you are looking for, feel free to deviate. What Makes A Good Request Thread?

Finally, when you contacted the person and discussed the details with them, start a roleplay thread where all your in-character messages go together with your partner. If you are uncertain as to which section is appropriate for your new roleplay thread, choose "Poe's corner". https://writerssanctum.com/forums/poes-corner.14/
