Greetings denizens of The Inner Sanctum! I am the Glorious, Magnificent, Ineffable, Magnanimous, Brilliant, Cunning, and most Modest Plague Lord Ardof. It is your greatest pleasure to meet me, I'm sure.

And this is the poor fool that smug sack of...well anyway, I'm the one actually controlling the fingers typing this out, for convenience's sake you can just call me Ardof. It's been nearly 8 or so years since I've role played and even when I was it was in something of a more, let's say, hormonal environment. I was referred here by one Dramatis Personae, though in my scattered way of doing things I registered without use of the Referral Link they provided, so I'd be ever so grateful if she received whatever commendations due a diligent recruiter.

I am here to flex a quickly deteriorating sense of creative expression. I like stories and characters. I'm willing to try my hand at nearly anything with a very few exceptions that can be discussed later as they are mostly covered by the server rules anyway. My previous 'experience' was mostly in a low fantasy setting with anthropomorphic characters, but I can take or leave that aspect. I suppose it'd be the easiest to say I am here to explore and expand my horizons and abilities. I also hate talking about myself overmuch unprompted. Please feel free to use whatever form of DM exists here if anyone has questions or interest in a collaboration. Thank you for your time, and I promise to keep the "Lord" under control unless requested.

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there! However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure!
