Hello everyone!

So the name's Pix, a 23 year old who's been wanting to get back into roleplaying. I use he/they pronouns!

What can I say about me? Well, I was into roleplaying back when I was 11-12 years old. I would only ever roleplay with a close friend and we went on to do this for about 4 years before me and the person drifted apart. Back then, my roleplaying style was using a lot of asterisks and wrote with broken english (as it's not my native language). And the roleplays would always be focused on either about an existing media or our own AU's (pirates, royalty etc etc). And in each of those worlds, there was always romance.

Nowadays, I only ever create characters and make up collaborated stories with close friends, but we'd never roleplayed. And if I'm honesty, I am SUPER scared of getting back into it, despite it being an itch that won't seem to go away. So today, I faced my fears, discovered this website and writing this post.

In terms of how I write now, my english definitely somewhat improved (albeit still struggling sometimes), and instead of using asterisks, I prefer writing in paragraphs. I very much still yearn for romance in my roleplays and still enjoy roleplaying in both existing medias as well as creating new worlds and stories together with people!

So yeah! Let's see where this will go!

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there!

However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure!
