ayo! i'm abii, and as many of these start, i've been roleplaying for a couple of years now. starting off from poorly written one liners and eventually writing over 6k words per reply does burn ya out when you do it for over 5 years. however! i did miss writing a lot lately so i'm looking forward to kicking back into the groove of it. and on that note, here's some dos and don'ts that i'll stick to as general rules.(but do feel free to discuss them with me!) and then of course my own preferences.
as for the dos!
- world building is my biggest green flag in someone! gimmie that sweet fantasy realm with its own political and economic system with its own set of morals and oh god i love that stuff! and it's even better when we can build a world together to enjoy!
- any sort of drama, conflict, you name it i am down for it so long as it's all in good fun and for the sake of driving the plot.
- i love discussing the plot ooc so don't be scared to shoot me a message regarding absolutely anything in the roleplay.
- i am alright with any genre, and i can play both male and female characters.
and the wretched don'ts!
- despite being alright with playing both male and female characters, i am not comfortable portraying a mxm relationship unless it's part of a b-plot and doesn't have too much focus. this is only because i am female myself and feel uncomfortable doing this!
- grammar isn't a big deal, we all make mistakes y'know, but if it gets hard to understand your replies or it affects my general commitment to the roleplay it becomes an issue for me.
- sex scenes are okay just keep in mind the site rules and to me they'll never be a big part of the plot or a whole roleplay. just one of those things i'm uncomfy with putting in the main focus.
- and lastly please don't randomly leave a roleplay as i try to keep a count of my active ones, just so i can see if i need to search for something new! and of course you don't owe me a reason for you leaving, i'd just like a message stating it's going to be dismissed or on a longer break!
