I am currently looking do a role play set in Historical Japan. My primary interests are in the Sengoku and Edo Era. I am looking for someone to play the male in this RP.
A bit about me: I am 25 year old female and I write exclusively in 3rd person, past tense. I prefer to write 2+ paragraphs per post. I currently live in Tokyo, Japan. I am in graduate school at the moment, so my schedule depends on how much schoolwork I have. I try to post at least once a day. On the weekends I have the ability to do more.
What I am looking for in you: I am looking for someone who is able to match me in style (e.g. 3rd person, past tense, multi-para., decent spelling and grammar). Ideally, you can post multiple times a week (this isn't a requirement though). I'd love to have a chatty partner! I like making friends and gushing about our story/characters. You must be willing to play the male lead. You must be willing to plot with me! Tell me all your ideas :)
I am open to doubling or doing to RPs.
I currently have two plot ideas, but I am open to other plots if you have one that could fit within this setting.
Samurai x Spy/Ninja - this alternatively can be ninja x ninja
A (famous) samurai unknowingly falls for a spy from the enemy domain. She disguises herself as a local and purposefully inserts herself into his life to gain information. Her job becomes increasingly difficult as she begins to fall for the charms of the samurai. Caught between her home and the man who has stolen her heart, the ninja most decide which piece of her to cast aside. Will she leave her comrades to support the man she loves or will she condemn him to death?
Samurai x girl sent back in time
This is your basic isekai plot. A girl gets sent back in time only to find herself in war torn Japan. She meets a handsome man who turns out to be (insert famous samurai here) and she must survive in this new world without letting those around her know her secret.
I am super interested in adding supernatural elements to both of these plots. Please keep in mind, this is just the bare bones of what I am thinking! I'd love to add more depth to the story through plotting.
I would prefer to only use Anime/art face claims for this.
