name's v. what's up? i'm a fairly literate writer of 10+ years (been writing stories since grade school, roleplaying since middle) who enjoys angst, hurt, and pain... with a good dose of comfort as well. i'm not a complete sadist! i like to delve into trauma, put characters in a Situation, see what makes them tick and then take it away and watch them flounder. but it's not doom and gloom ALL the time. you have to balance out that emotional turmoil with goofiness, softness, sweetness, and sheer dumbassery! go on, offer that crying character an egg in these trying times. why not?

no heavy/detailed gore
no pwp (needs a fair amount of story first or i can't get invested)
no bodysnatching (aka no controlling each other's characters)
no limit pushing

a and b would normally never have met due to their wildly different lifestyles. however, special circumstances brought them together, and now their lives are hopelessly tangled together
a and b are in a group chat together with c, d, etc. a is normally very chatty, until one day they fall silent with no explanation. b is the one volunteered to check on a, discovering something about a that they never expected
a is very rich and very famous. b seems to be the only person in the world who either doesn't know this or doesn't care
a and b just went through a messy separation. a has moved on, made new friends, and maybe met someone new, but b is stuck on past regrets and wants to make up for them. if only a and their protective friends would let them...
a is royalty, and b kidnaps them, hoping to hold them for ransom. but to b's surprise, a is a more grateful victim than expected
a played with things they shouldn't have, and now they have the all-powerful demon b following them around like a lost puppy, curious about every last facet of human culture
a is a wanted criminal, and b is dragged into their terrifying, dangerous lifestyle. though maybe not as unwillingly as expected

-pico fucked up on his most recent jobs. bigtime. now he has to shake a few hitmen off his tail, and your character's house happens to be the place he chooses to lay low, whether your character let him in willingly or not.
-after a hit gone wrong, your character finds pico injured and unable to flee the scene. despite his snapping, your character takes him to safety before he's found by less... savory people. once he heals up, he struggles to show his gratitude to your character, possibly freaking them out in the process with his unusual methods
-your character moves in next door to pico's apartment, and some of the sounds they hear through the unfortunately thin walls are starting to concern them immensely
-your character's pet has been missing for a few days, and they're getting beyond desperate to find it. so, logically, they hire the skilled hitman pico to help them find their baby, because hitmen are supposed to be good at finding people, right? and, surprising even himself, he takes the job
