- Pronouns
- they/them
⟣⋅•⋅— Hii. Aeri's the name. Early thirties,
parent, they/them pronouns. I write, I draw, I game, I go outside and touch grass, and I am looking for like-minded RP partners for both fantasy and slice of life ideas. Please read the following before messaging me!
ABOUT ME
- THE BASICS
- 3rd person, past tense, 300-1000+ words per post, but it all depends on what I'm working with.
- I usually post at least once per week. Feel free to poke me if I take longer.
- I prefer art references / description over real-life face claims.
- I don't really experience writer's block. Bad posts happen, it's okay to move on.
- Frequent OOC communication is encouraged but not necessary.
- CHARACTER PREFERENCES
- I want to write people with depth. I want story and plot. Conflict and resolution. Substance.
- I tend to prefer writing switches/vers characters but will write any position as long as the plot/dynamic is interesting.
- I usually write multiple characters regardless of whether we're doubling or not.
- GENRES & SETTINGS
- I love everything FANTASY (high, low, urban, faerie, grimdark, etc.) & HISTORICAL (Medieval Europe, Victorian England, Ancient Rome, etc.) and a blend of the two.
- I also enjoy sci-fi, dystopian, steampunk/cyberpunk, post-apocalyptic, horror, and supernatural themes. Vampires, witches, the works, etc.
- When it comes to tropes, I'm a sucker for found family, as well as:
- enemies to lovers, friends to lovers, reunions, soulmates;
- forbidden love, forced proximity, happy endings, arranged marriage;
- small town mysteries, bloodstained family, cursed objects;
- dark academia, magical creatures, the big bad, unlikely allies;
- medieval adventure, the chosen one, ye olde tavern, the quest;
- religious themes, social and political turmoil, combining real and fictional events;
- worldbuilding the fuck out of the story!
- I'm also always down to do anything inspired by DnD, Dragon Age, BG3, GoT, etc.
- EROTICA
- I enjoy writing smut but too much of it in a short span of time tends to bore me.
- The more sexual tension between the characters, the better the smut!
- I don't have any triggers or limits, I write bad stuff for the sake of writing it. My IRL preferences have no bearing on anything.
- However, I choose to opt out of writing omegaverse (m-preg is okay), ageplay, and/or scat.
- Yes to the more extreme stuff (gore, vore, non-con, abuse, watersports, and similar) but it has to fit the context of the story.
- If you want a detailed list of how flexible I am, check out my F-List.
- Of course, Inner Sanctum rules apply.
- ACTIVITY
- Please, please post frequently. I can wait but I cannot wait forever.
- I don't expect daily posts, but please don't post every few months!
- If you're no longer feeling the RP, tell me. It's nothing scary, I promise.
- But if you do ghost, no harm no foul.
- POST QUALITY
- 3rd person, past tense, please. I cannot and will not do 1st person.
- Quantity-wise, as long as I have something to respond to, it doesn't really matter that much.
- Please care about the worldbuilding! It just makes the story better, regardless of how big the setting is.
- e.g. if we create a world with Gothic trappings.... include Gothic trappings! If it's the 80s, make it feel like it's the 80s!
- Be creative but also have enough patience to see the story through. It is also okay to sometimes want to take a break.
- Sure, grammar matters, but it's not the end of the world if it's not perfect.
- OUT OF CHARACTER
- I love talking about the story and the characters. You will never bother me if you want to gush about any of it.
- You saw a meme that reminds you of our RP? I WANT TO SEE IT TOO!
- If you have a problem with me or the RP, just tell me. Don't beat around the bush or wait for me to notice.
- If we started something before but the connection fizzled out... feel free to reach me again if you want!
- Have fun! That's what RP is all about!
- I love talking about the story and the characters. You will never bother me if you want to gush about any of it.
