Hello, everyone!

I'm mews. I've been writing for a few years now post-college, the majority of that time being spent creating short stories. It's only fairly recently (within the last year or so?) that I have dabbled in creating stories with others, but I've had nothing but wonderful experiences that I hope to also continue here on The Inner Sanctum. For more detailed information about my writing, I'll make sure to link my RT whenever that gets done. In the meantime, let's sparknote it.

Before that though, let's talk about me! (Why else are you here?)

• I'm a 25 year old male (he/him), working full time. This obviously limits the amount of time I have available to write as my job is pretty hands-on.
• I'm an active gym goer...any gym rats around here?
• I also love video games. I tend to get fixated on a certain genre for months before switching. Last year, it was open world survival games and farming sims, while right now I'm on a huge fix of turn-based combat/card games (Think XCOM and Slay the Spire).
• I tend to live a fairly tame life, getting all of my crazy out when I attended college. So, I am able at the very least check messages and check in regularly.
• Lastly, I love collecting cards. Pokemon, sports, pretty much anything. Though with scalpers ruining the fun, I tend to window shop more often these days.

That's a bit about me. If you want to know more, feel free to ask!

Onto writing...(remember, this is a sparknoted list.)

• Multi-paragraph, word count doesn't bother me too much, though I need substance to work with. I don't need to know the details of every cloud in the sky, but I would like to know the inner thoughts of yc during intense/steamy scenes.
• MxF(xF) pairings only as I only play Male characters.
• Collaboration. Let's bounce ideas off each other.
  • OOC Talk is preferred!
• At least one response every 2-days? This can get weird as I can respond multiple times in a day, or go a couple without one. Just depends.
• Smut:Story ratio? 40:60? 30:70? It's hard to put it into numbers, but too much smut makes me unmotivated. There's gotta be little substance to it, ya know?
• I tend to play more realistic roles, though historical/fantasy roles are not completely out of the question.

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there! However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure! If you were looking for an open story you can just jump in straight away, you can find them in Unfinished Tales!​

Next, I've created A Sanctum Tour to help find a lot of cool places on site! There's plenty to do while waiting on replies or to give yourself a break every now and then!
