A silver sword entwined with ivy leaves. The leaves represent eternity, fidelity, and strong affectionate attachment, as well as the strength to survive and thrive in even the harshest environment. House Willowmaw controls a program within their home estate; a small school for aspiring mages and those gifted in the arcane arts. Albeit, it is quite notorious for its controversial teachings and location within the Bloodmage Peaks, where magic is known to be highly volatile and uncontrollable. For decades, the Willowmaw idea behind Caelestis Academy was if a mage could withstand, command, and properly wield the powerful, unstable magic in the Peaks, then they could control anything as long as they will it.​

House Willowmaw is a private sort of family: to be included as a member of the household, one has to marry into the family and take up the Willowmaw name. Even then, that does not guarantee you a place among the directors of Caelestis Academy. The Willowmaws very rarely marry into other families or houses, as these select few matches are usually only for love or power.​

Bezdna's Amulet — A vibrantly colorful, otherworldly stone encased within intricate filigree that is attached to a silver chain. It is traditionally passed down to the eldest daughter, acting as the ceremonial blessing of succession. Holder signifies the head of the house and rector of the academy. Currently in the possession of Cecilia Willowmaw. The Promiseblade — The ancestral weapon of House Willowmaw: a magical greatsword forged by House Tynes in 403 a.f. using raduganite.   Built by the first Lords-Willowmaw, Caelestis Manor is the ancestral home of House Willowmaw. After the family began their teaching program with the chaotic magic in Bloodmage Peaks, the estate had been expanded to become a suitable home for the Willowmaws, their retinue, and students. A towering black stone fortress that spirals up into the heavens, situated atop the Crimson Crest. It can be difficult to travel to the manor due to the winding, ragged, and icy roads, as well as any snowy or foggy conditions the day may grace you with, but any delegation or visitors to its palatial halls are given a warm enough welcome to erase the memories of the frigid environment just outside.​ ⋄ information thread.

  No one quite knows how the jagged, towering landscape of the Bloodmage Peaks came to be. Some speculate it to have once been the battleground of old Ancients, where a star had impacted and shattered the earth, while others believe it to be the remnant of magical terraforming in eras long forgotten. Some simply just think it's a grand mountain range with no rhyme or reason other than the natural world shifting. Nonetheless, within this mountain range, there is a towering peak that appears as if it nearly meets the heavens, looking over Eiselhelm, and when the morning or setting sun touches the spiked horizon, the reddened light reflects off the snowy tops and makes it seem as if it were as bright as blood, hence its given name.​

  The dark trees that began the forest known as the Limbo Wilds were initially instilled by Houses Willowmaw and Zykov a few centuries ago as a way to physically mark the threshold of where magic began to grow unpredictable and erratically violent. While pines spread across this vast, desolate area, they had planted special saplings called Ravenwood —extremely hardy, sequoia-esque trees with dark green pines and identifiable black bark. While the initial trees planted have since grown and spread to unpredicted reaches, the Limbo Wilds still marks the base of the Bloodmage Peaks, and serves as a chilly, sheltered home to a multitude of natural flora and fauna.​ ⋄ information thread.

In an attempt to save their children, he fled from southern Ineru. — After a few weeks of traveling, Ammon was blessed with a prophetic dream, showing him a place in the Bloodmage Peaks to build their new life.▸First connection made with Kaos. — Ammon's journey northward was joined by five other families looking to secure themselves a safe haven of their own from warring nations and hungry deimons. These household names included Tynes, Zykov, Lockheart, Castor, and Ezem. circa Veris — For a few months, the travelers lived in what is now called the Limbo Wilds as they waited for summer to approach. When the snow and ice lessened in the warmer months, they began trekking upward into the towering mountains.​

  — After years of construction high in the Bloodmage Mountains, Caelestis Manor is finally completed. The large home is able to safely accommodate the Willowmaw lineage, as well as the families that initially accompanied them to the mountains.▸House Willowmaw established. — The Willowmaw name begins to become synonymous with mystery as eastern-Inerian folks hear rumors of the family hiding away in the treacherous mountains. More clans begin to take an interest in joining them where deimons cannot roam.​

  — A son from the Tynes family discovers a strange, multi-colored ore while exploring the area. Upon further investigation, the material seemed to hold very strange and powerful properties, akin to the magic in a Vinculi's sacred birthstone.▸Raduganite is discovered. — As a show of gratitude, the Tynes mine for powerful raduganite and construct a breathtaking sword for House Willowmaw.   — After learning more about raduganite, the Tynes and Ezem families begin mining for the material while House Willowmaw sets up trade. The strange, powerful ores are immediately sought after by mages and alchemists.▸Slow trade begins making its way in and out of the Bloodmage Peaks. — One of the Willowmaw daughters marries a son from House Lockheart. — The Castor family begins planning and building the layout of a village as more folks travel to the Bloodmage Peaks in search of raduganite ore and fortune.▸Their small safe haven is given the name Eiselhelm by the community.​

He discovers a crater in the center of the mountain range, where the earth had been split open.▸Ammon Willowmaw discovers the truth.​
