Novice Howdy (tips cowboy hat)

Hey, I'm new (not new to the site, but I left pretty soon after joining for life responsibilities). I used to do RPG years ago but put it aside when life got busy (it still does, but I like to convince myself otherwise). I'm 28F from sunny South Africa. I mostly have interests in long-paragraph fantasy RP - medieval, magic, sci-fi, dragons and other varieties. Not too fussed about group size but prefer doing 1x1.

Outside of RPG, I enjoy reading and painting and I have two dogs which I affectionately call my trash raccoons because they constantly eat things they find on the floor even if it's not good for them. Decided to try out a new RPG site as I would like to get back into more creative writing since my real life job has me writing pretty stiffly.

Looking forward to trying to get back into things, will look into putting up a recruiting/interest check post.

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there! However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure! If you were looking for an open story you can just jump in straight away, you can find them in Unfinished Tales!​

Next, I've created A Sanctum Tour to help find a lot of cool places on site! There's plenty to do while waiting on replies or to give yourself a break every now and then!
