Greetings from Texas. 
I am new here but not new to RP, I've actually been writing for about 11 years now. From that, you can probably guess how I've made plenty of characters in my day, haha. Most of my experience has been on Facebook, but the RP community there seems to keep discouraging me nowadays, so I end up looking for different sites to write on. Haven't had much luck on most - or at least a lot of them don't seem to quite have what I'm looking for…
Honestly, I just love writing with people who actually talk with me OOC, not just plot/write and that's it. Guess you can say I mainly enjoy writing with friends! I've found it helps a lot with my enthusiasm, muse, etcetera. This doesn't mean I need to know everything about the person (I almost never talk about my personal life either), I just enjoy the regular chatting, talking about plot ideas, sharing things that make us think of the RP, all that good stuff!
Anyway, onto what else I enjoy. Crime has always been my favorite genre, so, lots of my characters are humans and crime-based in some form or another. (Though I do have some supernatural ones, I'm usually not feeling them as much.) I'll admit I'm a sucker for ships but chemistry has to be there, and I mainly ship with friends. Always looking for new friends though! Especially if you like MxM, cause that's something else I'm a sucker for, haha. I also do MxF but I'm particular about female characters, probably because I've been hurt by a lot of people who wrote females.
Yes, most of my characters are male. I find them easier to write, more comfortable and more fun. I also use mainly actors, y'know, real faces. :)
That's all I can think of for now. I have few limits besides that I avoid god-moders and impatient people. Hoping to write with somebody here soon!
