I prefer posts that are at least 2-3oo words long (about three or four solid paragraphs). Nobody is going to be perfect, but at least high school level grammar and spelling. I will work with beginner roleplayers but I won't reply to something that I have to rewrite to understand. I also don't expect you to be able to shoot posts back at me the same day, though I'd prefer a reply within the week. Longer than that, I'd like you to let me know ahead of time, and I'd prefer not to constantly wait more than a month. Yes, real life gets in the way and can keep people busy, and we all need to step back at some point. But this isn't gonna be fun for me if I feel like what we're writing is an afterthought to you.

On that note, talk to me OOC! There's the PM system here, or I have e-mail or Discord. Whether it's my base idea or yours, I like to talk about how we can mesh our characters into the same setting, and I'm flexible on just about anything when it comes to laying groundwork - but only if we talk about it! I'll warn you that I'm absolutely foul-mouthed when left to my own devices. There will be copious swearing unless you ask me to watch my mouth and I will absolutely slip up a few times. But other than that, I like to think that I'm pretty easygoing and open. I like to talk to my partners about anything, not just stuff pertaining to our rp. But if that isn't your thing, you do you, bro. I'm not gonna pester you.

I can play male or female characters of any sexual orientation. Canon and canon, canon and OC, OC and OC, I really don't care. MxM/MxF/FxF pairings, leaning towards MxM, and I'll try my hand at threesomes and foursomes. I'm very inexperienced writing sex scenes. So either fade to black or be aware that I'll probably make mistakes. I'm good with either, and would like to have someone who would give feedback if we write explicitly. My only limits that I've found with sexual things are RPF, graphic on-screen rape, pedophilia, and sexual stalkers, but I'm fine with in histories and referenced IC. I'm also generally uncomfortable writing pairings where one character is an adult and one a child or teenager. So far I've only got... maybe two or three threads under my belt that include explicit sex, so I will honestly say that I don't think I'm any good at writing sex scenes.

Zero issues with violence and gore. War, zombies, serial killers, torture, labs, illegal experiments, I don't care. You wanna describe just how your character is slicing and dicing, be my guest. Someone vivisect your guy? Graft on or cut off body parts? Blood doesn't bother me in the slightest. Usually if there's a thread centered around violence or action of any sort, I slap a mature tag on it automatically cause sooner or later, it's gonna need it. There's no such thing as PG-13 when it comes to me writing violence, I'm kind of a descriptive person when I'm writing and that extends to murder and gore and all. If we talk about it first, I'm chill with violence in relationships if there's a reason (and yes, more than "well my guy's just a dick").

I'll try writing a character from any religion, nationality, or what have you, but it will be mostly or entirely based on what I can google. My posts are usually about 2-300 words long but I'll match what my partner writes for me if it's more than that. Romance and sex is part and parcel of most stories, but I generally prefer not to focus on it or make it the center of the story. If you've got an idea, you can pitch it to me, by all means. But I'll probably ask to do a modified version or politely turn you down. Writing extensive porn isn't something that interests me. I don't know what else to say about what I do and don't write, but if you have any other questions, toss 'em at me. Slice of life isn't particularly my thing on its own, but I'm all for writing the calm between the storms for more action-oriented roleplays.

Genres I'll write:
  • Dystopian
  • Fairy Tale
  • Fantasy (preferably urban/modern fantasy)
  • Hero/vigilante types
  • Historical/alternative history
  • Monsters (Godzilla/King Kong/Frankenstein/ghosts/etc.)
  • Pirates (more Black Sails than Pirates of the Caribbean)
  • Post-apocalyptic
  • Sci-fi/science fiction (especially hard or military sci-fi)
  • Space opera
  • Sword and sandal
  • Sword and sorcery

Fandoms I'll write:
  • Alien vs. Predator
  • Assassin's Creed
  • Avatar (alien smurfs version)
  • DC
  • Doctor Who
  • Harry Potter
  • The Hunger Games
  • Leverage
  • Lord of the Rings
  • Marvel/MCU
  • Merlin
  • Percy Jackson
  • Shadowhunters
  • Sherlock
  • Spider-Man
  • Star Trek
  • Star Wars
  • The 100
  • Torchwood
  • Transformers
  • X-Men

Preferred pairings [incomplete list]:
  • Castiel/Dean Winchester
  • Dean Winchester/Sam Winchester
  • Bucky Barnes/Natasha Romanoff
  • Bucky Barnes/Steve Rogers
  • Steve Rogers/Tony Stark
  • Clint Barton/Phil Coulson
  • Clint Barton/Natasha Romanoff
  • Erik Lehnsherr/Charles Xavier
  • Sirius Black/Remus Lupin
  • Draco Malfoy/Harry Potter
  • Magnus Bane/Alec Lightwood
  • Rey/Ben Solo
  • Poe Dameron/Finn
  • Cptn James Flint/Thomas Hamilton

I also come up with original ideas from time to time, which I'll drop here, sorted by genre or fandom.
Fantasy
  • One main character comes from a family that's the most famous magic/creature hunters in the nation, if not the world - but realises they have magic themselves. They don't trust their family not to hunt them too, so they go on the run, and meet the other main character who is also hiding their magic. Since magic is so despised, they decide to team up to try to survive without letting anyone find out that they have abilities, knowing that neither can betray the other without dooming themselves.
  • Some race or species has always been closely intertwined with a nation, being its guardians or benefactors or what have you. But a powerful dark wizard who has a hatred for the reigning family changes things so that the royal family and court all believe that this race or species are spies or otherwise have it out for their country. I'm kinda thinking dragons, maybe? Anyway, a roleplay focusing on the increasing unrest as the guys in charge have suddenly turned on their longstanding allies, much to the displeasure and confusion of everyone else.
  • Also any sort of historical setting that is switched up to involve fantasy settings. Pirates that have mermaids or sirens working with them to capture ships, that have elemental magic and can keep their ship safe in storms, that can enchant their treasure so that nobody else can spend it without suffering severe consequences. Roman gladiators that had magic as well as normal combat ability, maybe even demigods.
  • Pre-historic individuals or societies that had some sort of magical abilities, and now modern society is advanced in ways that make it different from the world we know. Business contracts are magically as well as legally binding. Communication done by telepathy as well as by phone or email. Transportation by brooms, magic carpets, and teleportation as well as cars and planes.

Dystopian
  • Young adults from impoverished areas are offered job opportunities in a distant big city but the newest recruits find that things are not as okay as they seem. Could be that the poorer districts once rebelled against the central government, and kids/teens/young adults are sent to reeducation camps before being returned to their hometown to be spies. Our characters could choose a few paths, like only pretending they're going along with it. Maybe one doesn't have any reason not to (or a reason they need to, like the safety of a family member) and the other is trying to convince them not to be willing to sell out whoever's back home.
  • For some reason, there's a need for able-bodied workers that won't have anyone looking for them if something were to happen. Experimental programs, high fatalities, anything goes. Our characters would be trying to survive whatever scenario they're put into, and maybe even have a desire to warn the folks back home about what's happening.

Post-apocalyptic
  • My one idea would honestly be the base of The 100, where Earth was made uninhabitable a long time ago, and a set of people are sent to the planet to see if they survive or not. But of course we wouldn't have to follow the plot there, and there's a lot of ways that we could change the important details.
  • Alternatively, the Earth was recently wrecked by some event (war, famine, disease, nuclear fallout) that is putting it on the fast track to no living thing being able to survive. Those who remain on the surface have to prove that they would be valuable assets to a safe community that's being formed. They could be asked to do increasingly dangerous/illegal/immoral things to see how far they would go to obey the rulers of that safe community.
  • Or such a community has already been established and our characters are trying to break or sneak in to save themselves, which would come with repercussions. The penalties for such could be whatever we wanted. Could be that our characters used that as a way to get inside the community, and intend to start some sort of rebellion or otherwise gain entrance into the actual society.
  • Once a teenager becomes an adult, they have to survive the apocalyptic waste on their own or in small groups for a set time to prove that they're capable of taking care of themselves if something should happen. Could be any number of dangers.

Supernatural (tv show/fandom)
  • Dean left the hunting life after an argument with John, leaving his brother Sam behind. When the eldest Winchester disappears... it's Sam that goes looking for his brother, and finds him running a mechanic's garage. Dean's not eager to get back into the life, but he can't deny his family, and things go badly from there.
  • Castiel never rescued Dean. Instead, he struck a deal with an angel to become a vessel in exchange for his freedom. But he doesn't remember making that deal, and his memory of his life was replaced with a set of fake memories. What happens when he's found by an old friend of the family?

Black Sails (tv show/fandom)
  • What would have happened if Vane wasn't executed? Diverging from the end of season three, inserting Vane into the events of the rest of the series.
  • Since I absolutely, firmly refuse to believe that Flint gave everything up to live in slavery... yeah we're gonna burn that bitch to the ground, who wants to help? Continuation of the series in which Flint and Thomas go off and do something else with their lives.

I wanna do something but I don't know where to start I'll be honest.. xD we have a lot of the same interests.

Got a pairing, fandom, or genre that we could use as a starting point? And lemme know which half of the pairing you'd like to play, if you care.

Hey there. I dunno, I just get this feeling... that writing with you would be a ton of fun, haha. Do you have any idea bubbling around in your head in the Fantasy, Dystopian or Post-apocalyptic genre?

I hope it would be fun! Hm, I've got some, not sure what would catch your interest. They're kinda vague but we can flesh something out if anything stands out to you! At first I only had like one or two but then this expanded into a bunch of ideas. Oops?
