The Nine

"They formed the council to maintain a peace. Nine perspective species, and nine elders. Each elder maintained their species, and if peace was being threatened, they would gather. Over the course of a thousand years the council decided to create a multi species team that would work together to overcome rebellion, or war. Young ones who were deemed fit were stripped from their parents and moved to a training facility concealed by years of magic in the heart of Rome. This facility has trained some of the best and the brightest, including these four you see before you now. I would suggest you read more from those history books you stock on the shelves before standing in their way." – Ecbert Gibbers

The war has begun. The elders have turned against one another, yet again. To what reason? No one can be sure. The school has been closed and abandoned, and the only facility left was hidden from the council long ago just in case this very reason reared its head. The group of four did their best to save the others by moving them here. Those who chose to disburse were removed of their entry marks and left to scatter. The last remaining facility housed a small group of those who were like minded. These people monitored the war and tried to intercede where they could to help reduce the innocent slaughtering of all.

The 9 Species

Vampire
: This species is known for their flawless appearance, and immense intellect. Strength and speed are simple add ons. Most have an allergy to sunlight without the spelled items made by the witches.

Werewolf: This species is known to be reclusive and choose to remain further away from big cities. They are normally tan in complexion and can expel a lot of heat from their bodies. Their eyeshine will alert whoever they come across of their ranking. Yellow is a typical omega, blue is a beta, and black with bright red is an alpha. It is very rare to find a silver and red eyeshine. Those Pureblood alphas.

Hybrid (Cross between Vampire and Werewolf): The strongest combination of species. They often attract others to them without meaning to. Coupled with all the traits of the two species it makes them extremely difficult to kill and can only be done with a Demon's magic.

Witch/Warlock: Most often look exactly like a typical human. This species has distinct markings along their body that mimic tattoos. When the species has come to full power a crown of sorts (tattoo) will cascade across their forehead from those markings (called connecting) and a diamond will appear in the color of their harnessed element.

Banshee: They are quite beautiful, and female When they scream their mouths tear apart from the opening of their jaws, and their screams can turn anything's inside to mush.

Elf (Non magic): Typically, short, and with pointed ears. There is only one known elf to still hold magic and that is an elder. Though their magic has long since passed with their ancestors, their ability to live twice as long as a human (if not longer), shy away from sickness, and keen senses have remained making them impeccable in battle.

Human: No description necessary.

Fae: Can be male or female. They contain magic and have wings.

Demon (Cross between Fae and Witch): The dark equivalent of fae. They have wings that can be hidden, unlike normal fae.

Facilities:

White Tower (Rome – Warrior Training)

Silver Tower (London – Intelligence Training)

Crescent Hall (Texas – Hidden Facility)

Fairfax (New York – Gathering Hall)

Max of 5 people.

I am interested in playing a Banshee if you don't mind a new player to the site joining you.

Absolutely! All are welcome. Also, welcome!

Hello!!!! I'm super interested if you're still accepting. Either a Warlock or Fae!

Hello there!
Can I play a human or warlock? (What would you recommend? I'm happy to do either and very indecisive. So what would be better for plot or balance?)

I would go with a warlock, and honestly it's going to be first come first serve. Whoever gets their character sheets in first!

"Welcome" doormats are an invention from vampires so they don't have to ask to enter your house anymore! Jokes aside, I am down for this!

Go hit up the character thread!

Bump bump bump I need some females in this RP too.

Ooo, this seems rather intriguing.

Could I play as an elven elder and claim Rome for myself?

That would be intriguing and mildly rough to integrate, but we could give it a shot.

Neat. Admittly, I am thinking of a Roman Legion hybrid and society being partially based on ancient rome with elven elements throw in.

This makes me think of something; what era are we working with in terms of technology and approximate year?

It is modern times. 2021.COVID is a thing.
