Hello there, everyone! I'm... not aquatic. Although it would have been nice if I were. The sea is so vast, beautiful and mysterious, but at the same time she is powerful, savage and terrifying. As a land-dwelling, air-breathing creature, I can only admire her from the very edges of her influence. But some nights, I dream of the day I give up air and warmth for her cold embrace, and forevermore bask in her darkness.
On a more serious note... Hi, I'm Mido! I'm an eighteen-year-old girl who writes for a hobby. I've done collaborative writing and roleplay before, but I'm still sort of new to this forum format. Thanks in advance for the patience!
I'm a big fan of Lovecraft's work, and I like writing with similar themes, like obsession, insanity, unfathomable power, forbidden knowledge and all that jazz. Of course, Lovecraftian themes aren't a necessity, just a preference. I'm also a big fan of Sci-Fi and Cyberpunk settings, or the classic old Medieval High Fantasy.
I'm really looking forward to writing with you all!
