hello. you can call me rose. i am an 18 year old female who, believe it or not, has been role playing for 8 years or so. i am recently bringing myself back into it, haven taken a break for a few months due to lack of motivation because of my last year of school was quite garbage.
i'm never really sure what qualifies someone as semi-literate, or literate. i can write a lot- i typically try to match whatever my partner writes, but i find that i am easily turned off when responses are less than three paragraphs (if my previous english teachers could read that, they'd be amazed). that being said, though, i'm not the person who uses a lot of "big boy words". not saying i cannot understand them, but i like to keep things simple and sweet.
here's a writing sample of mine. it's lore for characters i have in a wolf role play on discord (this is the most recent writing i've done for the most recent role play i've taken part in. because of my hiatus, i have not done humans in a while.)-

"Tribbani? You've gotta eat." The big brother pleaded, the skinny fae staring absently at the ground as she always did, audits perked, shoulders slumped, eyes wide and unblinking. In truth, Amari had not had the time to process the death of his parents. No one had offered to take care of the pair once their pack had dispersed a month ago, and he was left to take care of his shattered sister, the once strong heir to the throne they were destined to claim a whisper of her old self. While he was being trained as a hunter, Tribbani was being trained to take over the pack. Amari had given up that role to her on their first birthday, the promise and future she had shining much brighter than his own. Now he was not sure if she even had one. She would end up killing herself, starving before she had a chance at life.
"Tribbani." No response. It was hard hunting for the two of them. Between the lack of energy and coordination he had, he was sore and exhausted, and she was also borderline suicidal. Amari had spent countless hours tracking her scent down beaten paths as she wandered off after he had told her to stay put, never telling him where she was planning on going when he asked. In fact, she hadn't spoken to him in two months. Brief moments of mental clarity allowed a head nod or two, but that was it despite her screaming in the middle of the night. It was always bloodcurdling, burning the back of your throat type of screams; the entire forest for miles went silent, the eeriness it left behind chilling him to the bone. To the small male's dismay, there was nothing to be done for her. The nightmares had to run their course, every time she woke up a blank stare on her face, tears rolling down her cheeks. The pain she believed she bore alone was not borne alone. It was simply felt differently, the brother who had set lower expectations for himself now the one calling all the shots. He had not cried, nor had nightmares. He had not muttered their names, nor allowed a thought of them to cross his mind. It was one paw in front of the other, and that was all he allowed himself.
"Please." Today was not her day. The nightmare last night had left both of them speechless when they woke, Amari shell shocked by the things she had yelled. The only clues he had to his parents demise was what Tribbani screamed, most of it gibberish. But last night she was surprisingly clear, her voice telling him parts of the story he only knew the end to. It was like he had skipped to the end of the book, turning to random pages and only hoping he would turn enough pages to be able to piece the puzzle together when he was ready, still not completely positive he wanted to read the entire book just yet. An exasperated sigh left his lungs as she did not move. The small rabbit he had managed to catch for her was a waste, and his appetite was more than lost.
"Mom and Dad would want you to eat." An ear flick from her, a slow, bone chilling turn of her neck to look at him with blank eyes. Her presence itself was eerie. Everything she did was slow, her eyes massive and stuck in the same blank face she had when they had all found her sitting in the mouth of the Alpha's den. She seemed possessed, moving with a slow insanity Amari had never seen in another wolf before.
"You don't know what they'd want," she responded for the first time, her voice a forced, raspy whisper, a byproduct of the voice loss she experienced every night. Amari shivered, the result of such voice loss making her sound demonic. He kept a strong facade for her sake, but internally he was scared shitless of her. An animal who cared for absolutely nothing was truly wild. And Tribbani Faye was a wild animal.
"I know they wanted the best for you. They'd want you to live on and make a better life than what we've got right now," he countered, telling her what he thought she needed to hear. He wanted so desperately to have his sister back, his strong hearted best friend. The one who picked him back up when he fell, and not the other way around. They had switched roles, except Tribbani was insurmountably worse than him in every way possible, and he was not equipped to handle it.
She stared at him for a few more moments before her lips pulled back to reveal her canines, slightly yellow from the lack of eating she had been doing. No eating meant no bones to chew on to get the plaque off of her teeth. It also didn't help that she didn't let him close to her. He couldn't help her pick the mats out of her fur, nor did she care to clean them out herself. A little foam in the mouth and it would be easy to mistake her as rabid.
"Shut the fuck up," came her monotone voice again. And he listened. With nothing better to do, she resumed her previous position as she stared at the ground, and Amari watched her helplessly, not daring to fall asleep in fear she would disappear again.

*i'm a sucker for romance.
*werewolves, vampires- anything along those lines.
*i'm down for group role plays, preferably ones that have some sort of dystopian element to them.
*modern day and futuristic are "times" i'm comfortable with, but i would attempt to role play in medieval times or things like that.
*fantasy is pretty cool.
*to cover all bases, i don't do many fandom role plays. i think the only ones i would ever do are set in the world of Dragon Age Inquisition, or the Mortal Instruments Series.
-i'm honestly very open to other's ideas, and am quite garbage at coming up with themes myself. but i pride myself in my characters and if i connect to them emotionally i become extremely invested in storytelling.

i'm quite vanilla? i enjoy sexual role play but only if there is story telling involved. your typical small amount of BDSM is about what i'm into, but i would be open to suggestions from others on topics.
*i answer multiple times a day, when life allows. but it is harder for me to keep track of website rps as opposed to ones that would take place on an app.
*i like to plot in pms.
*i will play both men and women.
*i am hesitant to play anything other than MxFi'm bisexual but i've only been with men so i'm an inexperienced little bean
*i'm sure i'll think of other stuff.. but it's 12:30 am and i planned on being asleep a long time ago because i have work tomorrow (today) so as you can imagine, i am not thinking straight.
