Let's see.... I forum role played ages ago on a LotR site when it first fired up. I don't even know how long ago that was but when I think about it, I feel like the meme of Elrond saying "I was there Gandalf... I was there three thousand years ago..." I had loads of fun there, lots of adventures, played almost every species in Middle Earth, and loved every second of it. I also played at a little paranormal forum for a bit, met some really awesome, twisted writers there. I took part in a few battles at other forums... got my ass whupped every time. But it was so much fun! I really loved writing for the fun of it and reading along with the stories as they blossomed. Then college happened. Reading and writing became a laborious chore. I drifted from writing for fun.
And I miss it monstrously, writing with others just for the hell of it. I'm here hoping to dive back into it. Well, maybe not dive... perhaps wade in and doggy paddle around a bit while my writing muscles get warmed up again.
I'm into fantasy, supernatural stuff, and light sci fi. I'd love to venture into horror at some point. I hope to find other interesting genres to dabble in while I'm here. I'll try anything once, twice if I like it. Thank you for creating this space. I'm excited to be here.
