overview
I've been writing for upwards of fifteen years across various platforms, and while I don't shy away from exposition I tend to wield it with restraint, preferring to let atmosphere and character bleed into the scenes instead of overexplaining. My work leans into the darker corners of fiction: fantasy, cyberpunk, scifi, noir, with plots that thrive on shadow, tension, and the weight of choices that linger in the narrative long after they've been made. Slice of life rarely calls to me unless it's laced with heavier themes or grounded in a partnership that's already been forged over time. I write in third person past tense more often than not, though I'm not so rigid that it can't bend when the story asks for it. That said, I am a slow hand at the keys: I juggle sixty-hour weeks and children at home, so writing happens in the spaces between, not the whole of my days. Patience is a necessity for anyone who writes with me; I aim for at least a weekly reply when a story has momentum, but sometimes life forces longer silences. I always communicate delays, though I don't respond well to pestering. If the pulse of my style resonates but the particular plots I've shared don't, I welcome ideas so long as they satisfy my current cravings. Collaboration is always on the table, but spam and half-hearted pitches won't find a reply.infected is a 25+ female writer from southern usa who enjoys dead dove themes and romanticizing the grotesque.

I expect substance in what we build together: multi-paragraph replies are preferred and one-liners will be blocked on sight. I'm drawn to writing that carries weight and prose that feels deliberate, and I'll always take more over less. That said, I don't demand precision timing or strict word counts; post as you like, when you like. I don't keep to a daily rhythm myself, but if the spark hits you, run with it. No one is bound to match my length, only to give me something worth leaning into. The exchange should feel easy, not labored. I welcome all writers so long as there's effort, honesty, and something I can grip onto. What I cannot shoulder is silence. I don't want to drag ideas out of someone who refuses to bring them forward. Collaboration is the root of this craft, and the burden of shaping a story should never rest solely on me. Say what you want, suggest what excites you; the worst I can offer is a no. Many of my prompts lean into dark territory — violence, gangs, warfare, torture, murder, dub-con, non-con — and comfort with those themes is a must. Boundaries, though, are non-negotiable. Cross them once or twice and I'll remind you gently. Do it again, and I walk. Overpowered characters don't trouble me, nor do narrative pushes that shape direction, but godmodding is a line I won't tolerate.
