overview
I've been writing for upwards of fifteen years across various platforms, and while I don't shy away from exposition I tend to wield it with restraint, preferring to let atmosphere and character bleed into the scenes instead of overexplaining. My work leans into the darker corners of fiction: fantasy, cyberpunk, scifi, noir, with plots that thrive on shadow, tension, and the weight of choices that linger in the narrative long after they've been made. Slice of life rarely calls to me unless it's laced with heavier themes or grounded in a partnership that's already been forged over time. I write in third person past tense more often than not, though I'm not so rigid that it can't bend when the story asks for it. That said, I am a slow hand at the keys: I juggle sixty-hour weeks and children at home, so writing happens in the spaces between, not the whole of my days. Patience is a necessity for anyone who writes with me; I aim for at least a weekly reply when a story has momentum, but sometimes life forces longer silences. I always communicate delays, though I don't respond well to pestering. If the pulse of my style resonates but the particular plots I've shared don't, I welcome ideas so long as they satisfy my current cravings. Collaboration is always on the table, but spam and half-hearted pitches won't find a reply.
I expect substance in what we build together: multi-paragraph replies are preferred and one-liners will be blocked on sight. I'm drawn to writing that carries weight and prose that feels deliberate, and I'll always take more over less. That said, I don't demand precision timing or strict word counts; post as you like, when you like. I don't keep to a daily rhythm myself, but if the spark hits you, run with it. No one is bound to match my length, only to give me something worth leaning into. The exchange should feel easy, not labored. I welcome all writers so long as there's effort, honesty, and something I can grip onto.

What I cannot shoulder is silence. I don't want to drag ideas out of someone who refuses to bring them forward. Collaboration is the root of this craft, and the burden of shaping a story should never rest solely on me. Say what you want, suggest what excites you; the worst I can offer is a no. Many of my prompts lean into dark territory — violence, gangs, warfare, torture, murder, dub-con, non-con — and comfort with those themes is a must. Boundaries, though, are non-negotiable. Cross them once or twice and I'll remind you gently. Do it again, and I walk. Overpowered characters don't trouble me, nor do narrative pushes that shape direction, but godmodding is a line I won't tolerate.

original setting ; the realm of enoch
genre: dark fantasy, medium fantasy | inspired by: tolkien, asoiaf, soulsborne
looking for:

an aging knight with a possessive desire, a just prince destined to die, a vampyric father with a grotesque fascination

in the beginning there was nothing... until the first explosion of light, and from this the first god enoch, who discovered in itself the desire to create. three moons came to be, but the primordial beast began to wither. enoch materialized his thoughts into word and hurled them across the realm, and thus came the birth of magic. the primordial soup of enoch lended itself to the natural evolution of eldritchian beasts who lived for eons in the great fog of their creation until the desolation, and from the dying realm's last breath and a fallen star, the elves came to be. thus began the reign of the nine kingdoms. thousands of years passed and with them enoch saw the birth of storytelling, art, music, sex, and the rebirth of magic ─ until the sundering cast the world into war, and downfall of the elven kingdoms gave way to the age of man, where the enlightenment period, medicine, science, alchemy, and false gods now perpetuate cycles of curses and rot...
  • my character is ysolle, the overlady of omens. she is a long-lived elven woman from a bygone royal lineage who possesses an unprecedented healing magic. she was captured by your character, cadagen, hound of darkness, the crucifier. he is a middle-aged former and disgraced elven godsknight with salt-and-pepper hair and an unpleasing face. he has kept ysolle captive for somewhere between two hundred and three hundred years; she is chained to a ruined chapel by iron fetters. cadagen uses her for both her healing magic when he is wounded, as well as for sex, as he considers her his possession, trophy, and pet.
  • my character is ser saewynn. she is an elven knight of great renown and the youngest of noble-blooded triplets from the ancient kingdom of sylla umbel. she is plagued by horrifying prophetic visions. your character is king wyithil, ruler of sylla umbel and the north, and saewynn's older brother. he is destined to die, according to saewynn's visions, but he is unsure whether or not he should accept her counsel after the disgrace their wyrm-worshipping middle sibling subjected the kingdom to in years past.
  • my character is sabran, the pale scythe. she is an elven woman from eastern lands widely known as queen consort of sylla umbel, but to her husband she serves dutifully as a poisoner. your character is king wyithil.
  • my character has discarded her name, and is known now only by the vicious mawn of kalanthe. she is a youthful-looking vampyr who was kidnapped from her human family in childhood by your character, narcissistic ostep, who groomed her to be his political weapon and later his lover. they, like their large family, and both vampyric, and both have mastered the dark art of bloodmagery.
