Name: Aaryia Longshadow
Age: 534
Role: Queen of Zerya
Family: Declant Longshadow (Father, deceased) Arimai Longshadow (Mother, deceased)

Height: 6'2
Weight: 185lbs
Markings: A blue butterfly on her left wrist, green vines wrapped across her torso, those seen in image

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Magic: Nature/Earth based, Healing
Powers: Shapeshifting (She shifts into a white fox) Telekinesis, Telepathy (Only with her own people)

Weapons: Staff, three small daggers that she hides on her person.

History: The fall of Zerya began before Aaryia was born. No one knows how the plague began, only that in the early years, while it was still containable, King Declant sent every scholar, teacher, and healer to study the slow decay of the land and the extinction of the animals surrounding the area. At Aaryia's birth, the plague had finally began to spread through the magical wards placed around it.

At the age of three hundred, withered with age and ill from his growing failure to heal the land, Declant passed the crown to his daughter, hoping that she would succeed where he failed. He lingered a few years, offering what little advice he could to Aaryia before his passing. Devastated and broken hearted, her mother followed shortly after, leaving Aaryia alone to deal with the mess that Zerya was turning into.

She sent scholars to all corners of the world, hoping to find a solution to the plague. Aaryia herself used her magic time and time again, hoping to stave off the inevitable, but knowing that it was only a matter of time before she needed to find another solution.

It came to her as one of her scholars returned, not with a cure for the plague, but with news of a kingdom that was ripe for the taking. With a new idea forming, Aaryia worked with her generals to device a plan that would not only give her people a new home, but one that was already well established. The plan was simple. With her forces, she would conquer the land, turning it into a sanctuary for her people. She had no intentions of eliminating the natives, but intended to join her people with them to create one kingdom.

Name: Alexis Kendell
Age: 23
Profession: Nurse
Family: Thomas Kendell (Father) Avery Kendell (Mother) Gavin Kendell (Older Brother)
Partner: Timothy Michaels

Appearance:
Height: 5'4
Weight: 112lbs
Hair Color: Red
Eye Color: Blue
Tattoos: Tulips arm, Sword down her spine

History: Alexis' life was nothing glamorous. She grew up in a typical, middle class family in the suburbs, went to school and lived her life like everyone else. She got decent grades and never got into any major trouble as a child, which was probably why her life took a turn once she reached adulthood.

It started in college with her first serious boyfriend. Alexis didn't think much of it when she met Dallas at a sorority party. He was friendly, attractive, and she thought he was a decent guy. What she didn't realize was that Dallas was a predator and it would take the next two years to purge him from her life completely, only after he destroyed several of her friendships by sleeping with the women she was close to, and spreading rumors about her 'psychotic' behavior. She ended up transferring to a new school and starting over at the age of 21, desperate to pick up the pieces of her life that Dallas left in his wake.

For a time things were peaceful. She managed to graduate from college and landed a job at her local hospital. Her life was a routine of work, eat, and sleep as she fought to maintain her peace, fearing that allowing anyone in would create drama in her relatively stress free life. All of that changed when she met Tim. For the most part, Tim seemed like a decent guy. He was quiet and introverted where Dallas had been charming and social. She thought she might have actually found a good one, until he wasn't.

The first assault happened on her 23rd birthday when Tim demanded she change out of the outfit she'd chosen to go out with her friends in. The slap came out of nowhere, with no warning. One second she'd laughed at his suggestion and playfully told him he couldn't tell her how to dress, the next she was staring up at him from the ground, her cheek stinging from the impact of his slap and her mind unable to process what happened. From that moment on, her life became a game of walking on eggshells. She became a shell, going through her life cautiously, waiting for the next time her boyfriend decided to strike.

When Tim suggested a trip to Europe, Alexis was suspicious at first, until she realized it had nothing at all to do with sharing a once in a lifetime opportunity with her and was all about keeping her close and maintaining his control. Alexis didn't care, not entirely. In Europe, she finally managed to get a few moments of peace, escaping her boyfriend with tours of places he had no interest in. So when a self proclaimed witch approached her with an offer to allow her the opportunity to witness one of their rituals, Alexis didn't hesitate to take her up on it. What she couldn't have known was that the ritual would soon change everything and that the life that she had would soon be out of her reach.

Name: Anilicia Savaras
Age: 100
Race: Fae
Position: Holy Princess of Levingale
Family: Havorn Savaras (Father) Kylavana Savaras (Mother) Drospen Savaras (Older Brother, Heir to the Throne) Cuspen Savaras (Older Brother, 2nd in line) Tavara Savaras (Older Sister) Trus Savaras (Younger Brother)

Height: 6'0
Weight: 174lbs
Alignment: Neutral Good
Element: Water/Ice
Skills: Medicinal Healing

History: Anilicia knew from a young age that she was not normal. As the second born princess with her fate predetermined, there were no thoughts of a future where she would be used as a political prop to gain allies as her sister would be. There would be no arranged marriage to a man, a great relief as the princess came of age and realized that the thought of being with a man physically made her feel uncomfortable rather than held the same appeal it did to other women. When she turned 25, reaching full maturity and moved into the convent where she would spend the rest of her life, it was a weight that lifted from her shoulders. She would never be the trophy her sister was. Her fate would not lead her to be placed beside a man who would consider her beneath him no matter her accomplishments. The life of servitude to the gods, as much servitude as her station allowed, came with a freedom from the trap of marriage. To the outside world, Anilicia appeared to be indifferent to the notion of a life as an unmarried woman. In reality, the princess was thrilled.

Entering the convent, Anilicia stood apart from the other priestesses. With her body covered from head to toe in thick robes and veils that only exposed her eyes, the princess was treated as untouchable and would remain that way for the next 75 years. During this time, Anilicia spent her times learning of the gods and how to properly worship them without exposing herself to the eyes of others. During religious rituals she was front and center, holding a place above the Mother Supreme but lacking any authority over the other priestesses. She was one of them, but not. She prayed when the others prayed. She participated in rituals and customs demanded by the gods, but her role as princess placed her above everyone else. She answered only to the gods while being subject to the same rules stricter than those of her sisters. She was to remain untouched by man, or anyone else for that matter, until after her 100th birthday. Her virtue was to remain intact for the rest of her life with her only reprieve from her physical needs coming in the form of a maid that would be assigned to her after she lived through her first century.

Throughout the 75 year wait, Anilicia discovered her attraction for women, something considered an abnormality by not only her religion but the society as a whole. Women were intended to be with men to populate the world. Marriages were arranged to strengthen bloodlines and alliances, with romantic feelings completely uninvolved in the unions. Some couples eventually formed bonds with each other and developed feelings, while others remained as they began; a mere joining of bloodlines. Anilicia did not need to worry about such. Her future held little more than a physical release at the hands of the maid assigned to her and little more. Her needs would be met without the sacrifice of her purity. Most assumed the quiet and standoffish princess would follow in the footsteps of the other holy princesses before her, simply accepting what the maid could give her out of necessity rather than desire and she played the role well. No one knew that in the solitude of her rooms, the princess was already fantasizing about the moment her maid was selected and she had the chance to final explore the secret desires she kept hidden from the world.

As her hundredth birthday approached, Anilicia watched the selection process from a distance. She studied the women who volunteered for the position. Most were lured by the promise of the riches and compensation the position carried. The reward for giving up marriage and future children was considered worth it, especially when the maid themselves only needed to answer to the princess. Many women entered into the running with the assumption that Anicilicia would call upon them every once in a while when her physical needs became too strong for her to ignore. None were aware that not only was the princess looking for someone who would eagerly meet her needs. Anilicia was looking for the possibility of something more than one sided trysts where the rules dictated that she keep her hands to herself while being on the receiving end of pleasure meant to quell her lust until it no longer clouded her thoughts. The princess wanted far more than that. She didn't want just a physical relationship, but a relationship that would be frowned upon by society in general.

Name: Alyssa Rose
Age: 21
Profession: Student/Barista
Family: Jennifer (Mother) Julia Simmons (Grandmother) Ashton Simmons (Grandfather)

Height: 5'7
Weight: 138lbs
Tattoos: (Ignoring the one in the image) Flora pattern on her right hip, Daisy behind her left ear

History: All of her life, Alyssa was smart, outgoing, and determined, at times bordering on stubborn when she got something in her mind. Her cheerful disposition and unyielding loyalty made her popular everywhere she went, yet she chose to maintain only a handful of close friendships. Her popularity, while a hindrance at times, never motivated her into action. She wasn't the type to follow the crowd, always preferring to remain true to herself.

She wasn't a straight A student, having learned early on that repeating facts that she was told she needed to know did not make her intelligent and that life shouldn't be focused entirely on school. She was active in sports, playing softball every spring and running track in the fall. She was also part of theater group in every school that she attended. Her dating history is limited to one high school boyfriend and a series of bad dates with guys from her classes and the occasional customer. It's not a fear of commitment that prevents her from having a relationship, but her impossibly high standards that most guys her age fail to meet.

Alyssa and her mother Julia were close during her early childhood and adolescence, but as she entered high school the two began to grow apart when Julia began to spend more and more time away from home. At first it started off only a few days every so often, but once Alyssa became an adult, it felt like her mother was gone more often than not. The absence hurt at times, but Alyssa was smart enough to know that she wasn't the only one affected by her mother's distance. When it came time to start college, Alyssa chose a school close to home to remain with her father, worried that if she left he would be alone.

Now in her final year of college and a possible career awaiting her once she graduates, Alyssa is ready to start thinking about moving out on her own. The only thing holding her back is her worries for her father and the possibility that if she leaves, her mother will abandon him entirely.

Magic: Earth
Abilities: Botanokinesis, Geomancy, Botany, Alchemy

History
By the time Eslaria came along, Dialia was tired. After spending centuries being present for every fae birth, injury, and illness, she was ready to pass the reins over to someone else. Unfortunately for her, Montaya held little interest in becoming the villages next healer and midwife, preferring to spend her time learning how to become a seamstress, a position that allowed her to become a prominent part of the small social hierarchy. Her son, on the other hand, took after his father and became a guardian, spending months away from Felsworn to protect not just the village but the entire kingdom. Luckily, Eslaria eagerly accepted the role her mother was ready to abandon. She took to healing with an ease that surprised no one who watched the fae grow up.

From the earliest stages in her life, Eslaria demonstrated a drive to learn. She absorbed everything that she was taught with ease and always went off in search of ways to learn more. She'd beg her father to bring her home books from his travels and devour them the moment they were in her eager hands. She spent countless hours in the gardens, trying to create the perfect plants that would withstand the changing seasons and climate. When it came time for her to begin shadowing her mother during her work to learn from a seasoned healer, Eslaria not only picked up all of her mother's lessons but began to develop her own skills. The only thing she lacked was Dialia's charming bedside manner.

Compared to the rest of her family, Eslaria was always far more reserved. Her mind was always focused on her research, making her seem flaky to everyone she encountered. She would zone out during conversations, tuning out stories in favor of working things out in her mind. Most conversations ended with the fae rushing off to the gardens, eager to return to her plants. The fae preferred solitude, unlike the rest of her family who were social butterflies in comparison. Despite her preference for the company of the plants in her garden, she wasn't rude and while she tended to keep to herself, she was perfectly capable of holding a conversation even if she chooses not to.

As her mother began to step back from her duties, giving Eslaria more responsibility just as the virus began to spread through the kingdom. The first victim from within the village was her father who returned from his patrols weak and on death's door. Eslaria worked quickly, putting her father into a coma as she focused all of her attention on trying to find a cure for the mystery illness. It took her a week of slaving day and night, testing every remedy she could create before she finally managed to find the right combination of herbs to purge the illness from her father. However, he did not fully recover. Even though he was no longer dying, he remained weaker than before becoming infected, his magic reserves were much smaller than before, draining him faster. Because of this, he was forced into an early retirement.

With a base to start with, Eslaria began to improve upon her cure until those who became infected within the village went on to make an almost complete recovery. However, she could not restore them entirely. Despite her attempts, some still suffered from lingering weakness, not as much as her father, but enough that it became an annoyance to them. Yet, they did not seem to mind. They survived something that they soon learned ended the lives of all fae who were affected by it. In the end, when it came between living with limited power and dying, they all chose to survive.
