Did that title catch your attention? There's plenty more where that came from. The name's Kurayami, but feel free to call me Kura or Yami. Nicknames are welcome too! Nice to meet you, stranger!
I've been writing for as long as I can remember. Language and all the incredible things that can be done with it has been my passion for my entire life, and I do not see that changing anytime soon. When I was little, I read through book after book, learning to read elementary level books before I'd even entered preschool.
In my elementary school years I was, admittedly, the 'weird kid'. While the other students chatted and gossiped, drew pictures, and played around with their electronics, I was reading. I was always reading. During my down time, I took the class dictionary and wrote down new words to integrate into my vocabulary. I remember feeling lonely because I finished the Harry Potter series around grade four and had no classmates to discuss it with, so I focused on writing my own stories. Of course, like all stories written by an overenthusiastic child, they were pretty terrible. But I kept at it and now, here I am, writing scripts, stories, poems, lyrics, and all sorts of other media in two languages.
I also now suffer from BPD as well as being basically nocturnal, but oh well. I suppose it's a worthy sacrifice for my pursuit of literature?
