This was billed as "unspecified" because while a female character is desired, not only is player gender not relevant but the play could involve MxF and FxF if you so desire.

So, on to the idea:

The United States Republic vs The Socialist States of America

I'm wanting something involving sex and sexuality, but what fun is that without a good story to go along with it?

If you refer to the map - In the near future, we find the nation has divided into the United States Republic (in red) and the Socialist States of America (in blue). A bit more explanation will be found below.

USR-SSA.jpg

What I envision is this --

I will play one or more characters who are soldiers or other people in key positions in the army or government of the United States Republic.

Your character will be an attractive and manipulative female intelligence operative working for the Socialist States of America - using her feminine wiles to do all sorts of naughty things to undermine the war effort.

Without trying to start an OOC political argument, here's the rundown:

The United States Republic (USR) considers itself the political successor to the USA. The USR is also the successor to traditional American values - faith, work ethic, etc. It still controls most of the food production in the former USA.

The Socialist States of America (SSA) is more loosely bound than the USR due partly to geography and partly due to political alliances. In the west, China and Mexico have been supporting the SSA with direct and indirect military aid. In the east and up the Mississippi River valley to the Great Lakes, Russia has been their key benefactor. While Mexico (after their latest Marxist revolution) has eagerly joined in the fray, Canada has sealed its border tight and wants no part of this mess.

The navies were pretty much all decimated in the wars (though a few warships remain on both sides) and supplies flow by watercraft, but it can be risky. For the SSA, a great deal of food is shipped down the Mississippi to the east coast via small cargo vessels, and to the west coast through Mexico. (Of course their Mexican and Chinese "allies" take their cut.)

As you can see from the map, no direct line of communications (that's the old term for supply routes) exists between the east and west parts of the SSA, nor does either side have direct contact with the central part except over water via Lake Michigan or the Gulf of Mexico. Likewise, the SSA's control of the Mississippi River splits the USR in two. In central Georgia there is a very thin blue line running east and west which, if it could be completed, would provide an overland route between the east coast and the Mississippi river. Completing that line would also divide the northern and southern parts of the eastern USR.

As of the beginning of our story, both sides have exhausted most of their resources and a "stalemate" exists over most of the continent. Russia, China, and Mexico have been somewhat disappointed in their American allies inability to achieve a sweeping victory and military aid has diminished a great deal. In short, the USR ended up with all the people who drove pickups and shot guns, while the SSA ... Well, let's just say without a lot of help from outside, once the USR has a chance to recover they'll start taking back what was theirs.

That's where you come in.

There are three places where fighting goes on - all denoted by yellow circles on the map.

The highest priority for both the USR and the SSA is maintaining or denying control of the Mississippi River. Most of the food going to feed the people of the SSA comes down that river. The fighting taking place along the northern Lousiana border with Mississippi is crucial to the future of the continent.

Next highest priority is the fighting in central Georgia. If the SSA joins the east coast to the River and holds it, the entire eastern part of the USR will fall.

The third and last ongoing battle is on the border between Ohio and West Virginia. If successful, a significant portion of SSA territory could be cut off and retaken, providing badly needed industry and the coal to power them to the USR.

Finally, even though much of the war is considered a "stalemate" for the present time, that doesn't mean fighting isn't going on along pretty much every place on the map where red and blue meet. However, these are local forces using local resources - primarily to hold on to what they have, but also trying to seize what opportunities may come along to advance the cause for which they're fighting.

As for limits -- this is war. People will die. Some might be tortured first. But personally, since I'm looking for the sexual stuff, let me say I'm not terribly turned on by pee, poop, vomit, tattoos, piercings, small boobs, body odor, and tobacco use. If you and your character agree that some humiliation is needed to break my character, a bit of urine and some forced bi would be acceptable to me, if not my character (who won't have a say in the matter, right?)

==

If, after reading all or most of that, you're still not sure what I'm suggesting, that's okay. I wanted to leave it somewhat open to your ideas as well. Do you want to start her out interrogating prisoners of war? Or does she want to infiltrate some small town in the heartland pretending to be a good Christian girl only to infect the corn crop with some terrible disease? Does she want to seduce a general (or some very low ranking guard) to gain access to some top secret facility and blow it up? Or maybe all the above?

Even if I don't get any responses, it was fun making all this up. If I do get some response, that's icing on the
cake.

===

NOTE: Even if this is "taken" that doesn't mean it's closed, since there are plenty of other opportunities for would-be spies and saboteurs to cause mischief elsewhere in the Republic.

I'd be very much interested in doing something spy-like without the war plot things, even if this plot is closed?

The nice thing about this plot (in my opinion) is that it can be played by a hundred different people in a hundred different places around the country, and even at different times, so it's never "closed". However, since you're not wanting to have a war involved, it would be easy enough to just "play a spy" in some other setting. Or, if this setting does appeal to you but you don't want to be in the middle of a war - you might consider playing a spy immediately before the war in question starts. Pick a spot you want to sink an aircraft carrier or blow up some fighter aircraft or assassinate a high ranking military officer or steal some missile codes to make it more difficult for us (the good guys) to respond when the war does start.

Please feel free to PM me with any specific ideas you want to share. And thanks for your response.

UPDATE:

Republican forces have won a great victory in the East. USR forces were transported to the Florida panhandle and struck northward into central Georgia to prevent the SSR from splitting the eastern half of the Republic in two. From there they spread both eastward and westward to drive SSR forces entirely out of Mississippi and now the Socialists in Georgia hold only the coastal area.

Meanwhile, psychologically bolstered by success in the east, USR forces in the West have driven the Chinese-backed Socialists completely out of Colorado and Utah, and have retaken significant portions of Arizona and New Mexico. In addition, the USR has taken control of almost all of the south Texas coast.

The next most likely move for the Republic is to utilize the forces from the central Georgia campaign to cut off the SSA's exclusive control of the Mississippi River. If successful, Christmas could see the restoration of the United States of America with all its former territory.

(Unless YOU do something to prevent it.)

Okay folks, I'm bumping this.

Let's explore the possibilities. What have you got to lose???

In a move nobody in the Republic could have envisioned, a surprise offensive into West Virginia caught the USR forces completely off guard and unprepared, as a large number of soldiers had been withdrawn from that theater to assist in an offensive planned for the lower Mississippi river area.

Now the socialists control most of the northeast, and the area of Pennsylvania and New York still under Republican control is not expected to hold out. No forces are available to reinforce them, and no efforts will be made to resupply them.

In addition, a large number of USR soldiers and equipment were lost en route to participate in the Mississippi offensive. Morale is low in the Republic, but the overall outlook is that the USR will be victorious eventually.

=====

So, to anyone wanting to play, simply look at the map, pick a spot you want to operate, and we'll come up with a plan for your character to carry out.

I am interested but probably on a more small scale, but as I got more comfortable with the scenario perhaps expand it to encounter more of the grand conflict.

Thank you for your interest! Of course you can make it on as small a scale as you like. I think that's the beauty of the idea (at the risk of sounding immodest) -- you have such a huge range of choices regarding location and scale.

Please feel free to send a PM with questions, comments, and ideas.
