Your phone buzzes, and the dreaded message appears. It's from Death-Cast, and before the voicemail even plays, you know exactly what it's going to say:
"We regret to inform you that you will meet an untimely death in 24 hours."
This is it. There's no avoiding it: Death-Cast has never been wrong before. You only have a day left to live. The only question remaining now, is how you look to spend it. You download the social app Last Friend, trying to find and connect to the only living people who understand what you're going through: those other Deckers, the people around you who also have less than 24 hours to live.
So. What will you do with your End Day? How, and with whom, will you spend your final moments?
Hey there, and welcome to You All Die At The End, inspired by the bestselling book They Both Die At The End by Adam Silvera. The premise is simple, but heady and poignant: your OC has just been informed that they only have 24 hours left to live. What do they do with that information? Will they make new connections on their last day? What loose ends are there to tie up, and how do they do it? Well, the plane may be crashing, but you're still behind the joystick. Try and make the most of it in this tragic, bittersweet slice of life RP.
So, what do you think? Anyone want to (roleplay the day they) die together?
P.S. - The main characters of the book this is based on are teenagers, but to keep in line with rules here every character will need to be 18+. If we get interest, I will post character apps!
P.P.S - I'm planning on having the first post will be the moment you get the Death-Cast call, unless you really want to in-depth roleplay the lead up to that inciting moment.
