Hello! My name's Mads, I'm 18 and not really new to the writing scene but I'm trying to get more involved with community stuff. So this place seemed like a cozy option! I used to RP alot during my cringe years, but since then have been focusing on more self indulgent WIPs n such. That kinda got lonely, so here I am!
I'm super into fantasy settings. Medieval themes (its the only thing that I'm able to write apparently), though apocalyptic and sci-fi plots hold a ton of intrigue. I like rich world-building and dramatic plots. I have a tendency to make vengeful, greedy, or eerie OCs. They usually end up being gentle soldiers or bloodthirsty priests or some misunderstood anomaly.
Some things I like in storytelling are time stamps and maps. Small 3rd POV snippets from side characters, complicated lore and religion, and stories that knit themselves into a tapestry as they close are just... *chefs kiss*. Also I instantly love any morally grey or grouchy asshat character, and the found family trope owns a good chunk of my soul. Writing romance is not my forte but I love it nonetheless.
I don't know what else to say other than I can be pretty tedious sometimes. I tend to read my paragraphs over and over until I hate them and am also pretty bad at socializing in general so there's a high chance of delayed messaging. I'm not sure if that's important but I shan't stress over this thing anymore. Apologies if its choppy haha, hope y'all are staying safe and hydrated.
