Greetings All!

I would like to firmly say, I look forward to seeing what I can accomplish here. This site looks promising and many of you seem truly inspired to write.

I am Jackal, been writing for over 10 years now in personal works and role playing for about 5 years on the internet [If we count overall, about 20+ years]. I've tried many role playing sites over a few years. I only ever remained in one for a long period of time until it's cancellation. I'm hoping this site can fill the small void within, a empty vacuum of lost imagination.

I work best with the genres of adventure, horror, mystery, tragedy, and fantasy.
My weakness I would say is in-depth romance. Not so much that I don't know the concept of materialistic and spiritual connection but the continuous detailed story telling of such romance as erotic. I mostly focus on the minor details of love between characters and focus more on their tragic stories/paths, struggles, etc. My ideal role play is a vast universe of detailed yet mysterious characters both from the smallest human nature to a cosmic wave of untouched potential.

I'm always open for discussion but anything over 40% on the subject of romance, I cannot do. 70% should be the rich deep story telling, 20% on character/world development, and 10% on any form of love between characters. Not the most accurate percentage chart but you understand my meaning.

I look forward to hearing from some of you and hopefully we can work on a story!!

The most inspirational writing it that of concinnity. "The Mad House" seems like a perfect fit for my style.
Noir always works, specially with the supernatural elements.
