Novice Introduction to me!

Hi everyone !! Im XxEmo_Ang3lxX or Ari!

Im 18 and my preferred pronouns are she/they

I’ve been looking for a good site to RP on I hope this is it! All things considered Im pretty new to RP; but Ive been wanting to try it out as a hobby for a long time!

Some of my interests are drawing and painting both physical and digital pieces, listening to music (Emo, Riot Grrrl, punk, metal, Nu metal, folk, rap, midwest emo, shoe gaze, ect..); playing video games- mostly skyrim and mario kart however when not playing those i enjoy indie games. I love watching TV and movies, Id list my favorite but I average finishing 2 shows a month lol. I guess you could say i have a deep Appreciation for Art! I enjoy reading psychological horror, fantasy, sci-fi and so much more!

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there!

However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure! If you were looking for an open story you can just jump in straight away, you can find them in Unfinished Tales!​

Next, I've created A Sanctum Tour to help find a lot of cool places on site! There's plenty to do while waiting on replies or to give yourself a break every now and then! But, these are some of my favorites! The first shout out goes to The Sanctum Tavern! Here you can find many a thing! Hope you're finding your way around the site okay. It's always awesome to have newcomers to the RP scene come by, and see their interpretation of things. Feel free to ask questions if there is anything you are unsure about. There's quite a few gaming fans here too, I include myself in that group. Mainly Asymmetric top down turn based, but I will play most things.

I see you have a specific genre in mind, and that's great really helps ppl know what you are looking for. If you fancy trying something knew there's Table top groups running and a whole fantasy world to look into if you want.
My advice for Newcomers:

Read the rules. ( Non Negotiable)

Read a few Request threads ( RT) .

Make your own RT.
Explore the site, discover it has a ton of resources to make your stuff look cool .
Go back redesign your RT.

With regards to request threads, remember sometimes is as important to say what you really do NOT want as well as what you do. Also the bump rate is quite high so it's worth scrolling back aways for potential stories.

If you are stuck , drop by chat or look for names in staff colours. Green , Blue or Purple. Someone somewhere will endeavour to point you in the right direction.
