Hello, hello! As the name suggests, I am Dahlia, a 30yo stay-at-home-mom looking to spend my free time diving into a new story. I have been writing since I was about 13 years old, though not as often since my daughter was born in 2021. I used to be a part of another forum, but unfortunately, these things die off as time goes on.
As far as genres, I absolutely love slice of life, romance, adventure, fantasy, the list goes on. I have not ever written sexual content, but I am not against it. The same goes for violent content. I am new to both of these topics, but I am absolutely okay with exploring these topics.
My replies tend to mirror whomever I am writing with. I can write in great detail, but my responses are absolutely dependent on whatever I am replying to (perhaps that is the autistic side of me). I prefer to be active when writing, but I am incredibly patient and understanding, as I am a busy person myself.
I do not yet know my own tolerance for violence and gore. In live action shows, I cannot handle a lot, but reading violence and gore has never really bothered me. I do appreciate communication, so if either myself or my partner are uncomfortable, I am obviously okay with discussing this. The same goes for sexual content. I am not at all familiar with erotica, reading or writing. I do know that I get uncomfortable with derogatory behavior, as well as intense bondage. But as I have said, I am quite unfamiliar with writing sexual content. I am not against it, but if you are at all familiar with erotica, I would love any kind of explanation of potential situations (again, hello autism).
While I do not have any specific fandoms that I write about, I would not be against anything involving cyberpunk, fantasy, or generally cozy content. I am returning to writing, so I am still discovering and brainstorming exactly what I want to write about. But again, I love communication and absolutely look forward to discussing potential plots!
Please, feel free to reach out to me if you are interested in writing with me! I am very excited to get back to it, and I am, again, absolutely looking forward to discussing whatever story it is that you want to tell!
