This is me, in a frying pan of breakfast goodness.
Welcome, my name is Sol. I've been writing for a while, really, the passion started when I was just a young soul in school. I'd write all manner of stories during that time, and as you can guess, my favorite class was English Language Arts. Not sure if they still call it that, but that was quite some time ago, and I have grown since then. Today, while I still have a passion for writing, it's not nearly as rooted in wanting to write stories for an audience that will read them. I am much more of a hobbyist now and use writing much like playing videogames, it is a means to escape reality and go to a faraway land to decompress.
I write mostly fantasy, be it urban, historical, or any other form of fantastical writing that would fall under this umbrella category of roleplay. Characters I like to write are often knights or mages, sometimes even a combination of the two if the setting allows/calls for it. I am non-binary, and that is reflected by my characters as I often play both genders. If you want a manly man character to go along with your womanly woman character, then I will make one, but I will likely also make a second character and have a host of NPCs and functionality characters for a plethora of reasons that will be mainly for roleplay.
I write short to medium replies, so between two and three paragraphs, this gives me a chance to reply almost every day, but I work full time, so if I don't reply one day, don't worry. Sometimes work is just too exhausting to manage to get my brain to work. I'll react to your post to let you know that I have read it, and if anything comes up where I am predisposed, I will let you know. Of course, if there is an emergency that needs my attention, I won't be able to predict that sort of thing, but I will get in touch asap should something like that occur.
I am ghost-friendly, so if you feel like you want to just go and not say anything, certainly feel free. I do not judge. Sometimes it happens, and there is nothing to say; it isn't a bad thing, it is just an end to something.
I am pretty comfortable with violence and gore; there is a point where it becomes just an excessive viscera with no real point other than to be ultraviolent, and that gets old. If there is violence occurring, it's much more interesting if that violence has a point or a function. Beheadings and vaporization are cool, but why it happened is also as important as how, who, and what made it happen.
Like anyone, I am a fan of romance and have no problem with a good love story, but smut has its place. I am a firm believer that romance doesn't require naked bed rolling to be impactful, so realistically, the chances of me writing a whole orgy (Not the band) is pretty much a nonexistent situation. I like to keep that to a minimum as well, or if you prefer, let's just move on and say they did.
Fandom
Writing fandom is tough for me because I have plenty of characters that I like, but I don't feel like I can play them. But if you have a fandom universe you want to add some original characters to, and just make reference to canon characters, then that's something that could be fun. Here are some universes that I enjoy and am familiar with. If you insist I play a canon character, I will try, but please don't be offended if it is awkward or slightly inaccurate.
All characters in fandoms or otherwise will have to be 18+ as per the rules of the sanctum.
Demon Slayer
Blue Exorcist
Fairy Tale
Wind Breaker
My Hero Academia
All the Fate Series
JuJutsu Kaisen
Solo Leveling
Black Clover
Frieren
For pairings, I will generally play whichever gender you want to pair with your character once we discuss the details of our roleplay, so like the prefix of this thread suggests, "All."
Plots
Dautmorth Academy of the Arcane - The Dautmorth Academy of the Arcane is a prestigious magic school in the world. Our characters come from completely different spectrums of the student body. One comes from a noble family with a rich heritage in magic, the other a self-taught mage with an exceptional talent. Both have been accepted into the school on magical scholarships. They will have to navigate their relationship and the struggle of their social status that stands between them and true companionship.
