Jack and the wirestalk (Jack and the beanstalk and sci fi\

Jack was looking at the small device that was in his hand. The seller who had sold it to him had told him that he needed to plant this cyber bean into the ground and just add a bit of water. Then he'll see the magic. His mother had scolded him because he had given away his flying motorcycle to get the bean seed but he did not have any regrets.

He found a piece of land near his house to plant the seed and put some water onto it. He didn't have to wait long. Within a few moments, a giant stalk grew out of the ground that seemed to be made completely of wires. Jack had never seen such a thing and stared on in amazement. Then he mustered up his courage and took hold of one of the wires. The wire wrapped around his hand as he was lifted up into the sky. He was going higher than any flying vehicle had ever gone. He went up and up and up, for what seemed like a long time.

Once he reached the clouds, the wirestalk stopped growing and stood tall. He saw that what he thought of as clouds were really some synthetic material that made it possible for him to walk on it without falling. He wondered if that was the invention of some powerful country that he hadn't heard of. Nothing would surprise him anymore. There were so many inventions nowadays he couldn't even keep up with the new technology.

Once he walked a bit farther he saw that there was a giant building unlike anything he had ever seen. There was a giant robot standing in the big building, guarding what was inside. He heard the gears of the robot grinding making the noise - "Fee fi fo fum" The giant robot operated a scanner that put a red light on the area as it scanned the surrounding. Jack hurriedly ducked and hid behind a piece of the synthetic cloud. The giant robot seemed satisfied with everything and walked away from the building. Jack cautiously went inside.

The walls were dingy but the sides of the walls stretched on and on. He walked around the building, knowing that if the robot was guarding something, it must be good. He stopped at a room and looked in. There he saw what looked like some sort of apparatus. He could only describe it as some sort of mechanical chicken. There was a conveyor belt that went through one end of the chicken and out the other. Jack watched in fascination as the sand that went through one end came out as gold eggs on the other end. He located a lever and pulled it close. Then he walked over and took the mechanical chicken for himself.

But as soon as he pulled the chicken out, he heard alarm bells ringing around the building. "Intruder. Intruder. " It said. Jack cursed. Of course, the building had a security system. He should have known. In the distance, he could hear the loud footsteps of the giant robot. Jack tapped his shoes to set it to the run setting. He would need all the help he could get.

He ran as fast as the wind, his shoes helping him tremendously as he ran away from the building. He could hear the robot's loud footsteps right behind him but he didn't dare to look back. He ran to the wirestalk and climbed down, the chicken awkwardly placed in his hands as he did so. He slid down the wires, the wires were very smooth and didn't seem to hurt his hands at all. Jack could go down the wirestalk without any issue. He could hear the robot swinging down the wires.

After he reached the ground, he dropped the chicken and went into the house. He found his trusty laser saw and ran out. He pointed his laser saw at the wirestalk and cut it down. He heard a loud crash as the giant robot fell to its doom. He looked at the mechanical chicken happily knowing that he could finally provide well for his family.
