- Hello Neighbor-

October 31st, Halloween
12 years after a terrific night, 21 year old (YC) moves back into her hometown, back into the house she grew up in.
A small average American town out in Illinois, not a very exciting place, in fact, some might call it boring, but thats how they like it.
In the previous years this small town was plagued by a series of murders, rapes, abductions. All by one man.
Some started to calling him "The Boogeyman" as they never found out who committed such acts, or why.
For one year the town fell victim to his malice, and one night, October 31st, he made his last act.

During the plight of the night, a young girl found herself playing the part of his prey as she nearly survived the night with her life.
After the tragic night, her family moved away, trying to forget about what had happened.
Now, she returns home, 12 years later. She never forgot what happened, but something...something drew her back home.
As that horrific night came to an end, the local sheriff said to have put an end to the masked man, putting 6 rounds into his chest.
However, no body was ever recovered. Some say he's dead, some say he left, but no one really knows what happened to him.

Returning home to make a life for herself, she's determined to find out more about what really happened that night, and who he was.
Living in her old family house, a bit rundown and rustic, she tries to adjust to being back here, back with all the memories.
Her street seemingly normal, families, children, all the warmth you'd expect from this small town.
However, this cozy place hides one terrible entity. And it lives right across the street from her.
As she moves in, she's greeted by a gentle middle-aged man, a man merely gardening in his homemade sweater.
A seemingly gentle soul living by his lonesome, no one knows anything about him, or what his name is.
Rumors have it he's always been there, he's always been in that town, on that street, in that house.
This quiet, reserved, gentle man hides one dark secret.

As she gets settled into her home, she receives a letter. A blank paper from the typewriter with dark ink letters stating...
"Hello Neighbor"
With her curiosity, memories, instinct getting the better of her, she does some investigating.
As she learns more about that night, the man, and who it is she lives across from, her worries rise.
Desperate for more, for evidence, she breaks into her neighbor's house while he's out.
There she uncovers a taste of the truth, no one could have guessed how much he saw, how much he knew.
With the street, and most of the town under surveillance, he waited, and waited.
He waited for 12 long years, but why? he was waiting, for her.
Now, on the 12th anniversary of that tragic night, she comes home.

This is an RP where you play the role of the girl returning to old home, myself being "The Neighbor"
The concept is simple, its all about sneaking into your neighbor's home, trying to uncover the mysteries.
As it goes on, more and more will be revealed about that night 12 years ago, and how that night and this man might be connected.
Your character at one point will delve into the neighbor's basement and fall into a trap leading to her captivity.

This is a horror/mystery themed RP with some possible elements of torture, as well as smut.

-Let it Snow-

108 hundred miles from the nearest civilization, erected upon the mountain side in the middle of nowhere rests the Hearthfire Hotel.
Built in the 1920's, this outdated cabin-like hotel serves as a vacation destination for two unfortunate individuals.
Seeking an escape from their lives, they each book a stay at the hotel hoping to find some peace of mind.
However, peace of mind would not find them, and their minds were on the edge of insanity.
Waking up the morning after their arrival, both make their way to the dinning hall hoping for the hot breakfast advertised.
Instead, they're met with dead silence, literally. The whole place is empty, silent, dead.
Yes the same 500 room castle-like cabin, bursting with activity and life the day before, now abandoned, deserted.

With limited technology, no internet, and a storm well in progress, they're trapped.
The two have to work together, trust one another if they're going to survive until the storm passes or they can find help.
The Hearthfire Hotel on the other hand, it has a will of it's own.
It drew them there, and now that these two are in it's possession, the hotel wont let them leave.
With a dark entity ruling over the hotel, these two find themselves caught in it's mental game.

As the story goes on, more and more about the hotel and it's past is discovered.
Having limited resources, supernatural elements trying to drive them mad, and no way out, they must find a way to survive.
Voices and whispers are but the least of their worries, hallucinations, and sometimes physical entity's are of the plenty.
After a tragic night many, many decades ago, the hotel has been shut down, yet opened to a different kind of guests.
Serving as a cork in the bottle, keeping the vile hatred of hell from leaking into their world, this hotel serves as a house of horrors.

This is a survival/mystery/horror story involving two characters having to learn to work together to survive the winter and make it home, if they ever do.
With darker themes, and likely to be some sexual elements, this focuses more on the mental struggle between survival and giving into this entity.
