Hello! I'm (Obviously) new here and wanted to introduce myself. You can call me Jack if you want, or Hey You, or whatever is comfortable for you!
Okay a little bit about me (Okay, maybe I'm a little nervous here). I've been RPing for about 10 years now, I started when I got invited to a Fire Emblem RP site and still work with people from that site from time to time. But for one reason (college or a full time job/part time MBA) or another (depression) I've been spotty on RPs for a long time. But now that I've got space of my own (a Condo) and time on my hands (got that MBA), I want to get back into RPing as a way to keep me creatively sharp and interacting with interesting people!
Basically all of the writing I've done has been fantasy. My roots are in RPing for a RPG multiverse, but I've also dabbled in science fiction writing as well, and you'll see why when I give the rundown of my interests. I'm currently working on an anthology novel as almost a form of meditation and relaxation, and have ideas for other stories in a setting I've spent the last odd-year building up.
My interests and inspirations include, but are not limited to:
-Star Wars: My first and deepest running fandom. I'm currently on a quest to read all of the Star Wars novels, Legends and otherwise
-Video Games, Particularly RPGs: Video Games played a big part of my childhood and still arguably does today. I have a huge library that's backed up on me that I'm hoping to work through in the coming years.
-"Classic"(?) Science Fiction/Fantasy/Horror literature: I have all of the Dune books that've been published up to like 2012 I keep meaning to read. I also have a Kindle that's LOADED with collections of novels that I keep meaning to read that I wanna read through in the next few years (sensing a pattern?) .
-Batman/DC Comics: I enjoy reading Batman comics, but moreso the stories of his former partners and teammates. Shoutout to the Tim Drake and Jason Todd fans reading this right now
-Professional Wrestling: This one doesn't really speak to my writing style, but my personality and bank of references. For the 3 pro wrestling fans reading this, I'm subscribed to IWTV and Wrestle Universe. Ask me what I think of Pro Wrestling NOAH.
I've kinda rambled. I think that's okay? If you wanna ask me questions about my interests go right ahead. I'm looking forward to working with any and all of you!
