TW: Death, Serial Murder, Some Gore (not the MCs), maybe some manipulation/control themes.
This is just a basic idea and can be changed as needed depending on what myself and my partner may want.
The idea is that YC (the male lead) is secretly a serial killer. His work is known far and wide but is especially centered in one particular town. No one knows who he is or why he's killing (he could have a very specific victim type, such as certain types of women or even a type of person with a particular characteristic. We can come up with that as we plan), but he's deathly good at what he does and doesn't plan on stopping any time soon.
What he didn't expect was to have a chance run in with a girl that could threaten his whole show.
One night while he was roaming the streets (perhaps in search for his next victim or already stalking/observing them), a young woman quite literally runs right into him, shaking and terrified. But not of him. She's being stalked down/harassed by a couple guys that she ran away from, having turned a corner and hadn't meant to run into him. But now that she had, she begs him for help.
He gets the guys to take off and makes sure the young woman is alright (maybe even finding and killing the couple guys later that night as well).
And that is the start of how the serial killer and his object of obsession began to date. Hes affectionate and protective toward her, while still going out and committing his perfect crimes, all under her nose. Throughout the story, he struggles to keep the girl he very suddenly fell in love with in the dark, and maybe even struggles to control the urges to kill her at times as well.
