Lavender Pokémon RP Interest Check

A few years ago I hosted a Pokémon RP on another site that got a lot of traction, so I thought I'd see if there'd be interest to do it here. The following spoiler is the story behind the game:

Spoiler: Game Premise

In the Kanto region, many legends have been told of the Lavender Town Pokémon gym. Legends state that when it was still around, it was the strongest gym in the entire region. The gym leader, who specialized in Ghost types, was so strong that even some members of the Elite Four had trouble beating her, and she never lost. The gym leader was so strong that it was rumored she even had legendary and mythical Pokémon on her team, though few people even got past the first Pokémon she sent out to confirm this.

Then one day, seemingly overnight, the gym leader along with her gym, disappeared.

It's been several decades, but those who were supposedly around when the gym existed are no longer living. With no real confirmation of its existence, the gym has become part of urban legend, at least until recently. In the past few months, the gym has appeared worldwide, staying in one place for only a day or two before disappearing and reappearing in a completely different region. However, the most puzzling thing is that after the gym disappears so do the strongest trainers in the area. Gym Leaders, Elite Four members, and even Champions have vanished. Searching for clues also proves difficult, because after the gym disappears Pokémon in the area where the gym appeared become overwhelmingly powerful.

The disappearance of powerful trainers has caused researchers to stop giving new trainers a starter Pokémon and for gyms to close their doors, thus stopping the creation of new champions in regions where the current champion has disappeared. It's for this very reason that Bill, the world-famous Pokémon researcher, and creator of the Pokémon Storage System has started to look for a team to solve the mystery of the Lavender Town Gym, and hopefully, recover trainers, who like the gym did long ago, disappeared without a trace.

As this is an interest check I'm not looking for players to create character sheets just yet, but here is a little bit more info if you want to participate in the RP.

The team that Bill is mobilizing are ex-Champions in each of the regions. This means that all of them are at least 18+ years old, and even though they were Champions in the past, haven't been in the game for a least a few years. Since everyone has heard about the gym and the disappearance of trainers, the ex-Champions are rightly concerned, since this was a big part of their past.

There are only a few things I require interested players to do: At least have played one of the main series games (I want to make sure you know how the games work) and be open to doing a bit of research (mainly for the roster of your Pokémon. I want the moves they know and abilities to be up to date).

I'm totally game for this! I love Pokemon—I actually have two OCs from a dormant Pokemon RP here I could use. I've played through Ruby many times, and I'm familiar with Green/Red and Diamond, and have a working understanding with the others thanks to Pokemon GO (except Ultra Beasts but I will keep my mouth shut about what I think there).

I'll keep recruitment open for a while but if you want to start making your character sheets this is what I need.

Name: (Self-explanatory)
Age: (Remember to follow site rules, so 18+)
Gender: (Self-explanatory)
Description: (Face claims, illustrations, and detailed descriptions are fine. You can also put your character's personality here.)
Region: (This is the region you became Champion in.)
Occupation: (What's your character's day job?)
Backstory: (A brief history of your character)
AI: (You don't have to include this but it stands for Additional Information. Anything you want us to know about your character that isn't already explained.)

For your Pokémon, I need the following:
Name: (If your Pokémon has a nickname)
Gender: (Self-explanatory.)
Species: (Self-explanatory.)
Type: (Although tera types won't play a huge part in this RP, your Pokémon's tera type should be italicized. especially if it differs from its own.)
Ability: (Self-explanatory.)
Moves: (Self-explanatory.)
Forms: (Only applies if your Pokémon can change its form. If it can please add another ability or move slots if the Pokémon can mega evolve, can gigantamax or has access to a Z move.)

Finally, here are a few notes.

• Please try to select champions from different regions. My character was born and resides in Unova, but I'm putting Paldea under region because he was a Champion there (This is true. Paldea is my region, but you can be ex-champions from the other 8).
• For Pokémon please don't have any legendaries. You can have Ultra Beasts or Paradox Pokémon but I'm putting a limit for up to one of each of these, so you can one of both but you have to explain why you were in Area Zero if you have a Paradox Pokémon.
• Even though champions have access to several mechanics from the game's latest generations (mega evolution, Z-moves, Dynamax, and terastalization) they are supposed to be rare in this RP. Please don't say that all your Pokémon can mega evolve, gigantamax, or use Z-moves, though I wouldn't be opposed if three Pokémon in your team can do one of each.
• Also, you can have more than six Pokémon but the Pokémon you list are those in your current team when you first start in the thread. All your other Pokémon are stored in boxes. If the thread goes as planned we'll be travelling to all the regions so you'll be able to catch more Pokémon.
• For research purposes, these are the sites I tend to use for research. Serebii.net | Bulbapedia | Pokémon Database
• If you want to reserve a region, send me a quick PM with your preferred region - first come, first serve. Remember, Paldea is taken.
• Finally, when I post my sheet it'll be using a template but you don't have to use the same one. Your CS can be as pretty or basic as you want as long as you include all the information I asked for.

Hey hey hey, was just scrolling through various group RP adverts and saw yours. I very quickly got interested in the premise and would be interested to be a part of it if you would let me. I be a huge fan of Pokemon and the creepier side that people make stories and characters about online. At this point, I've already taken part in a couple of Pokemon-themed RP's, most of which are ones I came up with myself. So if you still have some room I'd like to throw my hand into the ring of this idea you got cooking up.
