I haven't gotten around to posting anything requesting others yet but I am excited to get started. As of now I am not looking for anything specific in an RP. The only request I have is that any "adult" play be kept to a minimum. I don't mind it for the sake of story but I am not interested in a story that revolves purely around sex. That being said, I don't mind romance at all! I also love the idea of playing without any sort of romantic plot at all and having it be strictly platonic. I find than many beautiful stories allow romance to take a back burner or be ignored all together. On the other side of that coin, I often find that romantic plots can be quite enticing and interesting as well!
As far as things that interest me, I love the fantasy genre. I have, in the past, lent most of my writing to something of the fantasy genre. However, I find myself interested in expanding my horizons when it comes to character portrayal. In fantasy it is easy to find myself wishing to write as purely a rouge or wizard type character. I would be interested in playing something else as well. I am a fan of Sci-Fi as well but have never had the pleasure of writing in a science fiction setting before so that type of story would be intriguing to me. One genre I have a hard time writing in is the "modern fantasy" genre (i.e. Twilight, Interview with the Vampire, Harry Potter, The Mortal Instruments, ect.). I have a hard time finding a balance between modern and fantasy and find myself straying too far into one world or the other, if that makes sense. I wouldn't be opposed to trying something of this variety but it would take me some time to find my footing. I also have written only from a female perspective and have only just recently made an attempt at a male character! I do not mind playing either (or neither) role but I do ask a bit of leeway with more masculine portrayals as I am new to those roles.
Pretty much, I am up to anything as long as it isn't strictly sexual role play. I am not opposed to romantic encounters that advance a plot but I do not feel comfortable playing in a strictly sexual space (if that makes sense).
