Who are you, how long have you been writing and what kind of things do you like to write?
Hi! I'm sleepybear. I've RP'd on and off for about 15 years. The bulk of my time in RP was when I was a teen, and at that time I was in a bunch of Probard/Suddenlauch forms that included feral, fantasy horse characters, wolves, and high fantasy locales. I've recently started RPing more human, humanoid, and human characters in the past 1-2 years. I will mention, Inner Sanctum is the first RP site I've been on that centers collaboration, which I love and admire, please be aware this is my first time in a space very open to collaborative writing. Most of my previous experiences were either individual story contributing to an idea, or more improv focused in tone. I'm overjoyed to collaborate, and I would like it to be a fun and positive experience for both parties.
I'm experimenting with what my writing preferences are at this stage. In general, I like to write-what-I-know. I'll write stories with horses, or stories about rehab and overcoming adversity. I'm at fault for putting a tiny pinch of myself into my characters, but I don't mind seeing them harmed or rejected. I also like to explore with characters, whether that be testing traits unfamiliar to me or imagining a character with strengths, skills, and talents I lack. I usually like those short, in case the character doesn't click. Genre-wise, I'm a big fantasy fiend (high or low), and I really enjoy stories that "take a beat" and give characters downtime to just breathe. I'm a sucker for a ballroom and a party RP, or anything as a 1-off costume or holiday shindig. Slice of life seems to be one of my attractions lately.
How long do your replies tend to be and what is your writing schedule like?
My replies generally average between 500 - 1200 words in both intro posts and replies. I'm stuck on a weekends-only writing schedule until the holidays, which I'll have an extra day or two during the week. I'm GMT-5 timezone (Eastern Time), for general reference. I'm always open to conversation if it seems like I'm taking too long to reply, and sometimes I may have questions that give me a bit of "writer's block," so I'm happy to communicate through them.
What is your tolerance level for gore? Violence?
I tend to relate my preferences to content I'm familiar with, so I do apologize. The Boys level gore - off limits. Reason: it's not a level of violence and gore I can consistently tolerate or that I want to tolerate in my stories at this time.
For violence, this is a tough one to explain. I'm okay with my characters being verbally put down, bullied, even a few knocks to the noggin when they mess up (if it's something another character would do.) I'm okay with 1:1 fisticuffs, without detailing too much gore (ie: broken nose stops at a short description and some blood mention.) My brain is impeccable at imagining things, so scenes depicting real-world and close to real-world (think the current news level) of violence and gore are a no-go for me. It's unfortunately too much and very activating.
Do you write any fandoms? (Please bear in mind that any characters under 18 and any high school settings must be aged up)
I did, and I'm open to the following: Pokémon (adult-only characters), Severance, and most magic fandoms.
Do you have any pairing or setting ideas?
I have one setting idea revolving around my character Obiapios and his new rider (yet unnamed but she has a design!) Obi doesn't talk or anything, he's just her mount in training. Although, she needs more training to get this young Pegasus in order.
I'm also open to any fantasy (high or low) one off settings and or slice of life settings.
Do you have any detailed plots prepared?
I only have a general outline of one plot, the rest are open slates.
The Obi and rider plot is a platonic mentor/mentee growth plot. May include tropes - depends on the vibe of the characters.
Do you have any characters you want to write?
Any additional notes you want to add?
I'm really big on communication and a proponent of there's never a thing as too much communication when it comes to planning a plot or story. While I may not be used to collaborative work in the RP space, I am IRL (laughing and joking). I would really enjoy a partner who likes to focus on stories, character development, and is awesome and can be that push of growth for me as a writer.

Do you have any characters you want to write?
- Obi & his new rider
- Maybe Pheobe - which would be a library/school setting in low fantasy environment
- I kinda want to create a 1-off character to dive into RP.
Any additional notes you want to add?
