Here are a few very brief synopses I have in the Modern/Contemporary Genres. These are kept vague for the most part, a starting point for collaboration with potential partners. If any of these ideas spark your imagination send me a PM!
Biker Chicks on Tour

Every year a group of female bikers gather in New York for a fundraiser, with all proceeds going to programs catering to single mothers and teenage pregnancies. These riders vary from girls with Harleys to girls with powerful street machines. The goal of the riders is to drive across the country, from New York to LA, the task having to be completed within a certain timeframe. Some girls like to travel on well travelled roads in large gang-like groups while others prefer to form smaller groups or pairs and travel the path less travelled. This is meant to be more of a simply, light hearted romance story between two women who meet for the first time and take the journey together.
The Family Holiday

Christmas is a wonderful time for family to get together and celebrate. In this case, the parents and members of the extended family have booked a few cabins in the mountains for the week of Christmas. The son and daughter are the late comers, both having to stay at college for finals or work before they're able to make their escape. They decide to make the three hour drive together, but when they're about an hour out they're made to stop as the road ahead has been snowed in and crews are working to clear it up. The brother and sister duo are directed to a waiting area until the road is cleared. They begin to talk, spending time getting to know each other in ways a brother and sister probably shouldn't… What will happen when the road is finally cleared and they're allowed to make their way to the cabin where their family awaits?
The Traveler

She's a strong, confident woman who travels from city to city for her work. Being career minded she has no husband or kids, though it doesn't mean she doesn't like to have fun. Once in these cities she likes to head to the local gay bars and nightclubs, looking for suitable company…
Treasure Seekers

A young female archeologist makes a stunning discovery, a map she believes leads to an ancient Templar treasure, though most of her peers and superiors are skeptical. No one seems willing to entertain her theories for even a minute. So she decides to fund an expedition herself though she knows she will need help. Where will she find such an adventurous spirit to not only buy into her theories, but to accompany her on a modern day treasure hunt/quest. I'm imagining a kind of Indiana Jones type of story, with globe spanning adventurers while other, more nefarious parties are on their tail trying to stop them, or to find the treasure for themselves.
The Hitchhiker

Deciding it's time to leave her hometown following a scandal, a young woman decides to hitchhike across the country, hoping to find someplace to make a fresh start. Who will she meet along the way, who in this day and age is willing to pick up a total stranger… I'm looking to play the female hitchhiker.
The Hitchhiker, Take 2

The idea for this story is similar to above, perhaps even a mix of the Hitchhiker and Biker Girls. In this case the Biker decides for a cross-country/Cross-European tour on her touring bike. Very early on she spots a young woman on the side of the road/bus stop and she pulls over to strike up a conversation, until eventually she invites the other woman along on her grand touring adventure.

Being a handsome professor and a widower of several decades, this older man has no shortage of suitors, however he tends to be drawn more to his work. In addition to teaching in class he performs research on ancient histories, often working on international projects. As his workload has grown much larger than he'd expected this particular year, he's decided to approach one of his smarter students to take an internship to assist him in his or her off time. However, something unexpected happens and he started to feel a yearning on inside he hasn't felt since his wife passed on many years ago.

She's retired from the sport as a world champion and olympic gold medalist, and now she's turned her fame into a ludicrous coaching career. She's always been a strong, assertive woman used to getting what she wants, so when she's approached by rich parents to take their daughter on as her new protege she accepts. Of course when she sees how incredibly beautiful the girl is, she's determined to make her more than just a sports star, but her own sweet little plaything.
The Doctor and His Sissy

He was a very pretty young man, small and feminine even, and different from all the other young men his age. His divorced parents were nearing the end of their rope with him, his father was on the verge of disowning him, and his mother worried about the fact that he had very few friends or real interests. Finally, after catching him looking at women's underwear his mother convinced him to see a Doctor, thinking perhaps there was a reason for the way he was… The Doctor, of course, could also see he was different, but to him it was a special kind of different. The young man was a Sissy and he just needed guidance to find his true self…
The Resistance

The attack was a surprise and the enemy troops quickly captured the city then moved on, leaving a garrison and brutal police force to enforce the new occupying government's rule. These secret police are brutal in dispensing justice. They've gathered most of the able-bodied men and sent them back to work as slaves while the young, women and elderly are left to the mercy of the occupiers. But as time goes on most people realize the attacks are beginning to fail as the allied forces are beginning to regain lost ground. In the city, some of the womenfolk have begun to resist with small acts of sabotage and unruliness. Can this small, growing resistance grow big enough to help the approaching allied forces in retaking the city? This story could be in any genre, including historical, taking place during WW2 or in a fictional medieval or sci-fi world.
Time Jumpers

Slice of Life/Medieval/Sci-Fi
This story idea is meant to span several timelines and genre, though its origins is meant to be in a modern time. Two individuals are selected (without knowing why, by who or why) and are simply 'jumped' to another time and place (could be past or future, alternate reality and/or timeline). Once in this new timeline, the characters need to perform a task for the 'entity' that had selected them. Once the task is complete, they are 'jumped' again, to another place and time to perform another task, and so goes the story, on and on.
The Inner World

Slice of Life/Fantasy
Those familiar with the Warlord from DC comics would certainly recognize the synopsis. An aircraft flying near the artic circle suffers some catastrophic event that causes it to crash to the surface of the earth. While in its decent things go black, and when the light returns, they see not an artic surface below but a more temperate landscape. Here the aircraft finally crashes thought he characters survive. They soon discover that they are not on the surface of the earth, but inside the planet, a place simply called the Inner World, a Fantasy world run by kings, dragons and possibly even the lost City of Atlantis.
