Hey there.
Yeah—you. If you’re reading this, you might as well stay a minute.
Name’s StayAmused. Call me that, call me something cute, call me whatever comes to mind—I’m easy like that.
✦ A Little About Me
I’ve been around the RP scene on and off for a while now. Took a long break (life happens), but I’m back and ready to shake the rust off. Fair warning: I’m here to learn, improve, and have fun, not pretend I’ve got it all figured out.
I usually write 250-500 words, give or take, but when the muse decides to flirt back? I can go longer. I’m a give-what-I-get kind of partner—show me effort, detail, a little passion, and I’ll happily meet you there.
Right now I’m mostly MxF, with a maybe on MxM down the line. We’ll see where the mood takes me.
✦ What I’m Into
I don’t do fandoms—I like things original, a little messy, a little real.
Favorites include:
I can be the hero, the villain, or that idiot next door who doesn’t realize he’s been flirting back for months.
Dark scenes don’t scare me. Blood, grit, emotional damage—I’m good. But I'm not great at keeping up with the darkness, so I'm not great for a whole story.
Smut? I can write it, sure—but I care more about the build-up. The looks, the tension, the almosts. If it happens, cool. If not, fade-to-black can be just as satisfying.
What I’m Playing With Right Now
I’ve got a modern slice-of-life idea simmering. Two people, a bar, lingering glances, finally striking up a conversation after seeing each other one too many times.
No rigid plan. No forced direction. Just chemistry and seeing where it goes.
If you want to tag along and help steer it? Even better. I love collaboration—and I’m always open to feedback or gentle nudges when I inevitably get stuck.
Lately I’ve been obsessed with modern writing—phones, late-night texts, rereading messages you swear you won’t reread again.
So—if you’re interested?
Slide in. Let’s see what kind of trouble we make.

If that kind of scene does something for you, we’ll probably get along just fine.He stared at the screen, thumb hovering. Three dots appeared. His chest tightened. Yeah… he was already gone.
