[Welcome to my Request Thread!]​

About Me:
Howdy y'all! My name is Andromeda/Andro/Andy, whatever suits. I'm a big lover of videogames, history, drawing, and most things in between. And a welcome to my new thread-- I am making a tentative return after a hiatus. I'm hoping to get a new story or two going to try to impassion me again! I've been roleplaying since I was ten years old with warrior cats on minecraft (major cringe, i know)... thus, i'm pretty experienced and have seen it all

Things to Know:
◈ Exclusively FxF—I also always roleplay with people who are female/nonbinary IRL.
◈ I write multipara-Novella. Good Grammar, third person, past tense. My minimum/normal post amount is 500 words, 1000+ for heavy description/transition/etc scenes.
◈ My responses typically come once a day to once a week depending upon muse. Typically, if my partner is a quick responder, I may mirror to be fast as well. Sometimes shit happens and I’ll disappear, but I’ll try to give a heads-up.
◈ I enjoy darker themes; high violence tolerance, tough topics connoisseur—TASTEFULLY done. I want to explore complex minds, not fetishize Richard Ramirez. Similarly, if you chose a plot with gore, expect to tolerate gore.
◈ I’m fine with being ghosted. I get that it’s really feckin awkward to contact someone and let them know you’re not into anymore. I’m always available to start a new story instead if we can agree on a new plotline, it doesn’t bother me at all. If a story has been dead for a few months w/out communicating, I will auto-assume the story is dead and will put it back up as available.
◈ I’m not the biggest fan of character images/sheets and prefer written ones, but if my partner wants one, I’m totally down. I just politely ask it to be more barebones so we can ‘discover’ each other’s characters.
◈ I'm a big fan of OOC, whether it’s talking about the characters, joking around, or sharing shitty life anecdotes. Not a requirement, but preferred. I can be funny sometimes, I swear. Don’t get me started on history or I will never shut the fuck up.
◈ I love, love a good, well-developed story. I like overarching themes, villains to go against. Conflict and resolution. I love characters who are imperfect and 3D, not shallow. This will always take precedence; around 20/80 smut-to-plot ratio. Please don’t try to force it without any story/character development and let it create organically.
◈ No AI will be tolerated around here. Don’t write to me with AI, and don’t show me AI art. That is just terribly insulting after 20+ years of doing art and 10+ years of writing. I will simply blow you up with my mind
◈ Please keep in mind that I’m allowed to ignore you if you choose not to respect any of my boundaries/requirements. I took time to write this here for a reason.
◈ On another note, please respect that we are friends at most. I am in a relationship. Don’t try to make it go any farther and make the dynamic between us weird.

The Plottening:
I am laid back and nothing is set in stone. You can 100% negotiate with me on changing up the plots and adding your own ideas to it!
If you want to bring up your own ideas because you believe they match up with my likes, that is welcome—but you must come with an idea instead of plopping down a pairing and expecting me to make a whole universe out of it. I'm always down for world building, but don't expect me to put in 100% of the effort. Also don’t give me any of that stepsister x stepsister shit.
I also only do story-driven plots, please don't contact me about fulfilling your fetishes. I am obligated to ignore these types of messages, sorry not sorry.

Subgenre: Late Bronze Age, early Iron Age. Apprentice x Mentor.
Setting: Celtic-inspired, being invaded by the Romans.
MC: A trusted confidant of The Lady.
YC: A new recruit training under MC.
Plot: Every late fall, clans inside the control of The Lady (the matriarchal leader) dedicate their daughter's to join the The Lady's home and train to be warriors. At the turn of every spring, they war with their neighbors to the west over land and resources; except this spring is different. Instead of meeting against their usual adversaries, a powerful breeches their shores. Driven by a common enemy, The Lady must make peace with the neighbors in order to drive out the invaders.
The story will start in the winter when our characters meet, training to be a soldier, and then follow the rest of the plot. The plot will get more and more complex as we go, but luckily your character is 'the outsider' joining in, so learning the new way of life won't be discussed and planned to death in DMs.

Subgenre: Medieval, very aggressive enemies to lovers, war!
Setting: Nondescript Medieval country-- we can discuss which country it is based off of or leave it ambiguous! Mid civil war.
MC: A mercenary commander.
YC: The home country's soldier.
Plot: Years ago, YC's village was burned to ashes by mercenaries hired by the enemy. How deep this slight goes up to you-- maybe YC is one of the only sole survivors, and everything has been taken from her. After a long journey of becoming a brilliant soldier, the same mercenaries turned coats and joined the Crown's side once they were offered more opportunity. More specifically, this was once MC's home too before she had to leave due to patricide of her lord father, and the crown has promised a pardon if her mercenaries help turn the tides of the civil war. Subsequently, our characters are forced to work together while having bad blood and being at each other's throats.

Subgenres: Crime, Mafia. Acquaintances to friends to lovers.
Setting: The “Wild 90’s” in Russia.
YC: The wife of an Oligarch
MC: The oligarch’s hitman... or woman.
Plot: To everyone on the outside, life seems perfect. Inside is a different story-- the oligarch husband is controlling, a massive prick, and abusive. Our characters never really interacted much throughout the years of MC's employment. If anything, there was only passing glances or brief comments-- MC is just gruff, and there for work only. However, in a panic, the oligarch calls MC over because a threatening letter ends up on his desk about ruining his life over getting a prostitute pregnant. The letter is addressed to him by a rival oligarch that wishes to usurp his industry.

Slowly, but surely, MC stops separating work and her personal life as this particular job consumes her, and lines become blurred when her and the wife start becoming close. Eventually, their emotional affair leads to plotting the oligarch's demise together.

Side note: I realize this might be a little outside the scope of what people might know about history. If needed, I will provide some information about this time period that will be essential to the plot!

Subgenres: Crime, 80’s America, enemies to lovers, toxic codependency. Shameless Dexter x Doakes rip-off except they’re lesbians kek
Setting: 1980s Chicago.
YC: A clever detective hellbent on solving the case.
MC: The suspicious crime scene photographer.
Plot: Our characters never interacted much up until recently. Well, no more than usual than just plain old work--- they often saw one another in both the crime scene and at the office, with one being a detective and the other specializing in forensics. It certainly didn't help that people often judged MC to be shy or awkward, and a bit of a recluse that spent too much time in her darkroom.

Recently, there has been a string of murders occurring over the past few years with no real leads. All of it ends at the same place, though; clearly, they are staged work meant to look like suicide or burglaries, but investigating those close to them leads to nowhere. Yet, after a few years, a pattern begins to emerge: it is always men, accused of rape and/or pedophilia, staged in suicide and burglaries, and their driver's license stolen to compose a collection of trophies. A detective connects these dots together and comes to a conclusion; they have a serial killer on their hands.

Though, there is one minor slip through the cracks that leads to an unsuspected direction. Unbeknownst to MC, the last man in the string of murders had made a recent complaint to the department about MC's behavior, but it really never went anywhere without proof. From there, things began to fall into place: like missing photographs from certain cases, tampered evidence, and how MC always seems to be insistent on working these cases. YC starts to investigate into her discretely, but well, things get a little complicated between them.
