Hi! This thread is skimmer and attention spanless friendly; [WIP]
I'm searching a partner to play out some of my more (or less) complex ideas from my graveyard of stories;
Princes, Slaves, and all kinds of knaves:
A cruise ship is nearing the port of the feudalistic and mostly closed state of Am Hadadra ruled by a ruthless sultan. But for the wealthy passengers Am Hadadra, rich in history, sand, heat, tradition, and slaves is churning in between the great turmoil of the first world war, greets with open arms for the ship carries a flock of future wealth; investors, adventure capitalists, politicians, lawyers, doctors - in short: the future and prosperity abroad.
Little does Am Hadadra and its fresh feudal ruler realize that the ship also carries a bunch of idealistic anarchists armed with pamphlets and letters weighed by new state-of-the-art Ottoman rifles and enough ammunition to set the future ablaze.

I'm WriteAngry and I seek the Original Thought. That means that I seek a thought derived from nothing, a rootless thought, something not influenced by anything. The first thought.
And no, I don't mean you have to find it, that's my adventure. And yes, I'll go and find it later.
I'm nearing the magical line of forty soon, I have two daughters, I for sure as hell ain't a native anglo-speaker and I can barely understand the way sentences are structured, and I like to write stories. I'm a plot based player which gives me a near unlimited amount of side-characters and npc's and ideas and very poorly developed main characters with no to little personality whatsoever.
I do some smut, too, but who cares when we have all of these marvellous plots and stories to write! Behold! The -
... crickets.
So PM me right away! Right now! Don't wait, create your overly complex character with a massive backstory and toss it in to be absolutely shredded by a straining narrative and a railroad structure with no room for character development at all!

So! clasps hands Treasure hunting vigilantes, imagine Indiana Jones, imagine Les Miserables, imagine Revolution!, and imagine it all where it quite didn't succeed. Imagine white scolding sun, broad hats and cigarettes, those fancy glass bottles you empty not-so-fancy-glass-bottles-at, imagine The Mummy.
Playing this seems quite hard but it really isn't. Just close your eyes, imagine the jazz from the gramophone, your long cruise from the civilization to this backsand butthole full of lavish delights and depriving sin, and getting caught in the middle of a bloody coal-tosser anarchist revolution! Or the other way around, I don't really mind.
This is a classical setting, I'm really proud of it, because it could also work in any genre. Fantasy? Sure. Sunpunk? Yes. Frostpunk? Well, yes, kinda - modern? Yes but that would be too soon right - Second world war? Yes - Sci-Fi - Yes! I created this for Sci-Fi! -points at it-
