Returning after a short-term hiatus to find Sanctum as lively as ever. I've had a few ideas in mind while I was away and instead of making separate requests and spamming everyone, I decided to compile them in one thread and pray they'll be someone's cup of tea. Speaking of, I prefer receiving a PM if someone's interested, rather than commenting on this thread.
This is written in my profile information as well, but I go by Amor. I'm a 29-year-old genderfluid AFAB writer and my pronouns are he / she / they. I've been in the roleplaying scene for well over a decade and I consider myself advanced literate, albeit also thinking that there's plenty of room for improvement. I'm primarily a MxM writer, but I can indulge MxF or even FxF when applicable. These specific requests will most likely be strictly MxM, but you can always ask for a different dynamic and I'll most likely, at least discuss it.

THE FEW THINGS I EXPECT FROM MY WRITING PARTNER :
- Communication, first and foremost. If the story isn't doing it for you, you're more than free to drop it and although I always say I'm ghost friendly, letting me know is much appreciate it. That aside, I like to keep in touch and exchange ideas while the story progresses, so do keep in touch and let me know of any ideas that may appear in your mind, or any element you wish to remove for a smoother experience.
- Patience. I'm kind of a busy bee outside forums and roleplay, so I will take my time with replies. That doesn't mean you'll have to wait for months on end, but give me a few days up to a week to get back to you. Reminders are welcome, but I bookmark everything, so I never lose track of what I owe. I offer the same grace in return ! Take as long as you need.
- Minimum length is 350 words per post, but my posts are usually between 500 and 800 words per post. I can write more, depending on the scene and what needs to be said. I generally go for quality over quantity, so don't stress about word cound too much, unless you plan on sending me liners, which isn't something I'm interested in because it gives me very little to read and respond to. You also don't have to match my length if your response is at least 350 words long.
- Third person and past tense style only. No present tense, first / second person or that asterisk stuff some people use. It kind of kills the vibe for me. First and second person is especially awkward if the story is romantic or sexual.
- Grammar and spelling are important and although I don't scrutinise anyone's replies, I'd like to keep the style advanced literate. I'm not skilled in purple prose and would like to avoid it, if possible.
- My smut to plot ratio is around 50/50, but I'm happy to incorporate more or less smut, at your request. Smut won't be the focus of the story, though. Or at least, unless we discuss and agree on that specifically, but the stories I have in mind require some development prior to smut. I'll consider fading to black, if you don't write smut at all, but I generally do enjoy incorporating it into my stories as a way to further develop the characters.
- As said, these stories are MxM, but I will include information on the ones I'm willing to change the dynamic for.
- I tend to prefer writing bottoms, but they can be both dominant and submissive. The latter is preferred, but not mandatory.
- I primarily work with animated faceclaims, but might agree to use actors if necessary. Artwork is always preferred.
- Please, do NOT use AI generated media. No enhancements via AI to the text and no AI generated faceclaims. I'm very anti-AI and I'd like to keep it that way.
- As far as smut goes, I'm fairly vanilla, but I'll discuss any kinks you may want to incorporate. My hard no's are as follow : rape, incest, noncon, beastiality, furries, abuse, cheating and racism. Mentions as headcanons, or past experiences are fine, but I will not write them interactively and as fetishes.
I. OUR STRANGE DUET :
A story heavily based on the Phantom of the Opera, but make it MxM. This can either include the Canon characters, Erik and Christine ( or Christian, if male ) or we can craft a similar dynamic with OC's. It's a dark romance, taking place in the catacombs of the Opera House, when the Phantom basically abducts Christine. This story can be MxM, but I can also write it as MxF. Preferably with the Canon characters, if it's MxF. We can include Raoul, or a third love interest to create the iconic triangle from the film / on stage play.
II. THE LAST OF THEM :
This story is based on the Last of Us, but it doesn't necessarily have to take place within the Canon universe. I'm happy to discuss an original, apocalyptic world where our characters exist. The characters themselves will be OCs, as I don't feel like writing any of the Canon males. You're free to choose a Canon character, if you think we can adjust the story to fit him. The story itself follows MC, the son of a wealthy family, who was sent to FEDRA / the military to be trained. MC didn't like the way the military took leadership by force, how they executed civilians and displayed cruelty towards anyone who was lost and without use to them, so he fled the Academy where he was being trained. He was still a rookie soldier, barely able to fire a gun, when he meets YC. A seasoned smuggler who decides to let MC follow him around and learn real survival. It can be a slow burn, or they can have a one-night stand and go from there. The decision is yours. This story is MxM only.
III. ALPHAS AND OMEGAS :
This is more of a setting idea, really. I'm a huge sucker for Omegaverse-centric plots and I'd love to write an Omega in a romantic / sexual story. I'd rather not be asked to write an Alpha because I'm not any good at it. The story can be slice of life, or fantasy. I've been craving to write a Kitsune or Huli Jing, thanks to the media I've been consuming lately. The story can also take place anywhere in the world we decide, but I do have a slight preference for Japan or China in either historical or fantasy settings. Picture Danmei novels, if you're familiar ! This story will be MxM and it can be more sexual than the last two. Like, even a 80/20 smut to plot ratio wouldn't bother me here.
