Looking to start a few long term rps. I like modern more realistic rps with romance and drama involved. I also like a good amount of smut but it must be accompanied with romance or drama and fit into the story line. If I feel like the RP is becoming more of a porno than a well written story then I will let you know and we will either fix it or end it. I don't want to write anything that I as a reader would not want to read.
Plot lines I want to try :
1) Times Up: Character A (my character) got into trouble borrowing money for her gambling addiction. Now she's about to lose everything including her life. She has 3 days to pay back her debt in full before they come after her. The only problem is she is a struggling bartender who works at a local bar just outside Manhattan. She works 15 hour days and can barley afford to keep a roof over head and let alone pay back the mob.
Character B is just a Southern boy turned city man. He started off as a Florida boy working 3 jobs to help his family pay bills. However when he turned 25 he got offered the job of a life time. The fishing company he worked for started a head quarters for there transportation in NYC and offered him the CEO position. Now two years later he lives in a huge Flat outside Manhattan, has all the money he could ever want, has a great group of friends, and even has a favorite dive bar with a cute bartender that has caught his eye.
2) People change: Character A was a shy overweight girl growing up which lead her to depression, self harm and eventually bulimia. Eventually after struggling with all of these things she found a sport that she loved (volleyball) and found out that she was quite strong. By the time she started college she had shed all her access weight and was finally starting to find a way to fit into her own skin, and that's when she met Josh. Josh was her first boyfriend and first love and they have been dating ever since her 2nd semester Freshman year. He was kind and gentle and made her feel like the prettiest girl in the world but now 4 years later something in him has changed. He is mean and cruel and begins to slowly tear her down making her feel like the fat depressed girl she was.
Character B is Josh's best friend, they went to high school and college together and have pretty much been inseparable since they were the only freshmen to make varsity lacrosse freshmen year of high school. They both received full athletic scholarships to Maryland University, rushed the same frat, and lived together all four years. The only thing is Josh has no idea that Character B has feelings for character A (josh's girlfriend). Now after they've graduated Josh has changed, he is angry, demeaning, and jealous of any male attention shown Character A's way even though he himself cheats on her frequently. He has come possessive and verbally abusive toward her and Character B can't stand to watch him force her into her old self destructive ways.
3)After Midnight: Character A and Character B were in a tumultuous relationship years ago. It was full of lust and desire, but the young lovers had a tendency for hot-tempered, vicious arguments. They broke up mutually and moved on, realizing that the situation was never going to give way to something healthy, but neither truly got over the other. Even though Character A and Character B are both in loving, stable relationships in the present time, it lacks the fervor of the connection they had with each other, and thoughts constantly wander to their old flame, wishing their new relationship had that same passion. Late one night, character B picks up the phone and dials character A, simply wanting to hear their voice. character A is shocked and hesitant to speak with character B considering their significant other is sleeping in bed in the next room, but is unable to hang up, emotions running high. The calls continue nightly in secret. After several conversations, both agree they need closure to move on, and decide to meet in person.
4) That one night: Character A is invited to her roommates sorority initiation party. Character A agrees to go along but eventually gets bored and tired of the whole party scene, and when she can't find her roomie anywhere so she decides to just leave. As she gets to her car she opens the passenger door to put her purse in the passenger seat and that's when it happens. A drunk frat boy grabs her from behind and tries to rape her. That's when Character B comes in, He walks out of a bar down the street and see what's happening . He instantly grabs the guy off of her kicking his ass and so on. Days later it turns out that Character B is Character A's TA ... There is a lot of wiggle room with this one.
5) Parent't trap: Unable to afford a plane ticket home this year, Character A resigns to grabbing a TV dinner for one at the local supermarket and flying solo. They don't expect to bump into their ex's (Character B) parents in the frozen food section nor do they expect to receive an invitation to spend the holidays at their cabin in the mountains. Character A honestly doesn't think it's a good idea to accept, but when Character B's parents insist that CharacterB will be happy to see them, Character A agrees to join. Character A packs a bag and drives up the cabin the following afternoon, hopeful for a pleasant reunion with Character B, whom they still have feelings for. Only when Character B answers the door in stunned silence, it's immediately clear that Character A is the last person they expected to see on this family vacation. It doesn't take long for Character A and Character B to realize that CharacterB's parents are scheming to get them back together. But will the parents' efforts—paired with a romantic atmosphere and plenty of opportunities for cozying up by the fire—do the trick?
6)Family Business: After an untimely death, the family business is handed over to Character A, a stubborn and spoiled twenty something who refuses any of the senior officials' help or guidance. Character B has been operating within the business for many years and knows the ins and outs, how to keep things running smoothly, and most importantly - very profitably. Despite Character B's generous offer to take them under their wing, Character A refuses to take their advice. Character B has devoted so much of their heart and soul to the operation, they can't bear to see it crash and burn under the awful direction of Character A.
Behind Character A's back, Character B has been correcting all of their careless mistakes for nearly a month, and their patience with the new president is wearing thin. A nearly disastrous meeting with potential new investors is the last straw.
After Character B saves the day and seals the deal, Character A is forced to admit they need the guidance of Character B to keep the company on top. Character B agrees to do it, but now there are strings attached. Character B will only help under the condition that Character A generously pad their salary and hand over the title of CEO.
7) Fast on the run: Muse A is on a day-long drive to an out of town business meeting. They couldn't ask for much more in life, being blessed with a loving partner that supports them, a beautiful home, and a well-paying job that leaves them happy and fulfilled. They are the eternal optimist, always trying to find the best in everything and everyone, even strangers. When they spot a hitch hiker at the side of the road, Muse A is compelled to stop and give them a helping hand, offering to take them along on their route to the hotel where their meeting is taking place.
Muse B is on the run, having escaped from the state prison during a transport three days prior. They have shed their orange jumpsuit for civilian clothes, and changed their appearance the best they could, thanks to an abandoned farm house near the penitentiary. Muse B is desperate to get as far away from that hellish place as possible. They've evaded the state police for this long, there is no way they will ever go back to that dark, stifling, awful cell.
Muse A is exactly what Muse B has been hoping for - a one way ticket out of town. They share a few stories and generally enjoy each other's company during the long, uneventful drive. Unassuming Muse A has no idea that there is a dangerous felon on the loose, but when they finally approach the state line to find a waiting police roadblock, Muse B suddenly pulls a weapon on Muse A and demands they get them through without incident. Once they've successfully passed the road block, Muse B reveals the truth, and Muse A is hit with the sudden frightening realization that they are now subject to Muse B's plans.
8) Business and guilty pleasures: Muse A is a high-powered executive in an extremely successful, Fortune 500 ranked company. They also harbor a well-guarded secret. Off the clock, the busy executive lives a submissive lifestyle, frequenting BDSM clubs to indulge their needs and desires. Muse B is looking to get their foot in the door at a major company in the city's financial district. After many grueling interviews and more than their fair share of rejections, Muse B is hired for the position of Muse A's personal assistant. Muse A is incredibly demanding and has no problem letting an assistant go for something as trivial as using sugar instead of Splenda in their latte, butMuse B is determined to wow Muse A with their focus and relentless drive to succeed, refusing to be expendable like so many of Muse A's previous personal assistants. When Muse B shows up in Muse A's office for the first day of work, they are both stricken by speechlessness. The recognition is instant and undeniable. Muse B was Muse A's dominant at their last visit to the club just one week prior.
9) House sitting:Muse A is house sitting for her longtime best friend while they go out of town for the week. Muse A is only into the second night of house sitting when someone arrives late one night at the door. Turns out,Muse A's best friend's older brother, Muse B, came into town to surprise his sister only to find out she was gone for the week. Muse A has always had a huge crush on Muse B and offers him to stay in the house to take the chance and spend some quality time with Muse B. Muse B finds it hard to turn down the offer from the very attractive and now very grown up Muse A and decides to stay. Muse B has always harbored a crush on Muse A, but didn't want to upset his sister by going after her best friend. After only one day of hanging out together, Muse A and Muse B waste little time to catch up on the years they spent pining away for each other by fooling around in every single nook and cranny of the house.
10) Coffee and bad decisions: Muse A is a college student, reeling from a bad breakup/stressing over midterms/(etc.). Drowning their sorrows/worries at the campus coffee shop one night, Muse A encounters their professor,Muse B. Muse B is looking for an outlet to plug in their laptop and Muse Aoffers the one beside their table. Muse B joins Muse A for a coffee and they exchange small talk as Muse B grades coursework. As the evening progresses, the conversation continues and by the time the cafe is ready for closing, the pair is left with a desire to keep the conversation going. Feeling it inappropriate to "hang out" together off-campus, Muse A and Muse B make unofficial plans to continue their chat at the cafe the following night. Muse A and Muse B have such deep/meaningful/enjoyable conversations that they resolve to start meeting each other to talk once a week.
Optional: Gradually, an attraction develops between the pair and they cautiously embark on a relationship. The pair must keep their affairs secret because of potential repercussions for them both.
11)Between the sheets: Muse A and Muse B are roommates. After a long night of partying, they stumble back into their apartment/dorm and fall into bed. Too inebriated to notice or care, they curl up in Muse A's bed together. Muse A snuggles into Muse B's chest, Muse B slides their hand beneath Muse A's shirt. Morning comes and the roommates wake up, half-dressed, in each other's arms, with no clear recollection of what happened once they got home the night before. All of the unanswered questions stir some curiosities between the roommates.
What will happen if the roommates are able to piece the events of the previous night together? How will it change their relationship if they were intimate with one another? If they weren't intimate, will they become curious about what being lovers would be like? Will the awkwardness of the situation be too much for either of them to handle?
More will come later, but if you're interested in any please let me know or if you have something different you want to try please let me know. I'm very open. Thanks :)
