Who are you, how long have you been writing and what kind of things do you like to write?
I have gone by a variety of aliases in my time. Most previously on IS, I went by the username "WrenWrenWren", which you may see in some of my past posts, but I wanted a change to give myself a fresh start. I go by Wisp now, and I have been writing for nearly 20 years. I will only write in the fantasy genre but may consider branching into sci-fi when the time (or idea) is right. I do not write horror, slice of life, historical, or anything that would resemble everyday life. I like to RP to disconnect from my daily life, not remind me of it.
How long do your replies tend to be and what is your writing schedule like?
I write novella length replies and would anticipate a partner that would write similarly. I don't need thousands of words per post, but I would prefer somewhere in the 400-1000 word count range for most replies. I am also not looking for someone who replies daily - I do not have the time to write daily myself, but every week would be nice. I have real life commitments that are my priority, and I travel often.
What is your tolerance level for gore? Violence?
Fight scenes, sure. I'll write those. But writing gore for the sake of gore, absolutely not. Violence will depend on the story - I write fantasy so there are often weapons and things involved in those tales.
Do you write sexual content? If so, what are your kinks? Limits?
Vanilla writer here. I will write smut, but only if it pertains to the story. I do not write smut just to write smut, and I am not looking for a partner that is looking for ERP either. All romantic pairings will be MxF.
Do you write any fandoms? (Please bear in mind that any characters under 18 and any high school settings must be aged up)

I have been on hiatus for many years after writer's block hit me hard. I do not currently have any plot ideas, but I am willing to hear anything that you might have and will add in some as I can. I am a very experienced writer and I am not looking to make friends or anything of that nature, but that does not mean I will be unkind or unapproachable. I just don't have an interest in connecting on a personal level or asking you questions about your life. Everyone has things going on, but I just really want to write a story. I love to plot, I love to talk characters, I love to talk direction of the story. My goal is to get myself out of writer's block so that I can reconnect with my creativity. I am looking for a partner that is 21+ years old, ideally 30-40+ but I feel like older writers are an anomaly these days. I feel like this might be a very blunt kind of post, but I believe in being honest and straightforward with what I'm looking for because this is a hobby, for fun, and not a job. If you are interested, please let me know! I'm happy to provide writing samples if you'd like. Additionally, I don't mind what you identify as, but all romantic pairings will be MxF. I am more than happy to write a M character but I prefer F characters. Happy to accept any gender for platonic pairings.
