Hello there everyone, Huntress here!

I'd like to start by saying thank you for checking out my thread and I hope you find some stuff that may be of interest to you here! If not, that is totally okay too! Who knows, maybe we can work on something fresh together :D.

I'm basically looking for a casual RP or two nothing too crazy. Just really looking to connect with some folks to maintain some fun stories or at the very least maybe find some long-term writing partners to create multiple stories with.

A little bit about me
So I have been forum based RPing for over 15 years at this point, and I've recently started doing some TTRPGs as well. My pronouns are she/her and I am in the EST time-zone.

I'm a casual gamer and I love watching movies and shows. I used to read books and comics a whole lot as well but that has kinda slipped away from me. I play a bit of music, enjoy photography and find it very zen to build and paint miniatures for wargames, and also building gunpla and scale models.

I like to think I'm a pretty friendly gal and easy to chat with. I don't mind casual conversation with my writing partners and I love brainstorming plots, concepts and world building with my co-writers. Like others I do have a life outside of RPing that takes precedence, so there will be times when I will be unavailable to chat. I currently do shift work which is on an inconsistent schedule so I don't have specific times that I'm online, it's just whenever I have a chance or whenever I'm not preoccupied with other life things.

In the past I've been a multi-paragraph/multi-response in a day type of writer, but I'm not sure I can really keep up with that anymore haha. I'm looking for like a minimum of like one post a week. Sometimes the inspiration hits and that'll help with multiple responses in a week, but at least once a week seems to be the golden spot for me right now.

My life can get very chaotic in random bursts which is why I'm setting, what feels like a reasonable posting requirement.

I do like to be informed if you've lost interest in a plot, at least for the sake of knowing/understanding how to better myself as a writing partner and storyteller. But honestly I won't be too upset if you ditch me. I will probably poke for a bit, but I am understanding of silence. I would also expect to be poked if I've entered a chaos era and have forgotten about our story.
Prefrences
I used to have a list of my do's, dont's and prefrences but it has unfortunately been lost to time. I like to think I am fairly open to most things within reason, and I am always open to discussing things in order to make the RP fun and enjoyable for both of us. If something comes up that I don't like, then I will definitely mention it.

Almost everything I write will have an element of fantasy and/or the supernatural. I just really enjoy it. I know this can be a deal breaker for some people, but I can't help it, I love it hahaha.
  • I am not a fan nor do I really do chat/discord RP's. The word count limitation can be frustrating.
  • I also do like to plot in DM's or on a google doc for easier access/layout.

When it comes to f-list and kink stuff, I'd rather discuss it in private should we decide to write together.
  • I am a plot over smut gal, with more of like an 80/20 or 70/30 plot to smut ratio.
  • I lean more towards writing female characters and have a prefrence for FxF pairings, this doesn't have to always result in a romance plot but it is preferred.
  • I don't mind writing as a male character or doing an MxF pairing, especially if my partner wants to write as a male, but FxF will typically come out on top. For MxF pairings I prefer to keep it platonic.
  • I will say that I am not a big fan of doubling unless absoloutely necessary, but I have no issues playing multiple npc's or background characters to help progress the story.
  • I don't really like playing canon characters or partaking in Slice-of-life stories.
  • I enjoy action and adventuring plots with overarching storylines that tie into our OC's and the world. That being said I don't mind writing in a pre-existing universe with OC's, I just know for a fact that I can't do justice to pre-existing characters. When it comes to the lore of some things within already existing worlds, you may have to carry me through that.
Settings
I have no issues with any settings to be honest. I'll help create and gladly write in any type of world. Whether it's medieval high/low-fantasy, historical ancient periods, turn of the century, the great wars, modern time, apocalypse or post-apocalypse, near future, sci-fi, space and anything inbetween.
Concepts, Pairings, Plots & Themes
I am saddened to say that I do not have any detailed plotlines written out at the moment. I do have some older concepts and a plethora of characters that I can dust off to fill spots or use as a basis to create something with my writing partners.
There is one specific OC that I'm looking to further explore in various settings, she is a monster-hunter turned werewolf from a modern supernatural setting. If you are interested in knowing more about her/plotting something with her let me know!

I am also open to simply creating something completely brand new from the ground up with my partners as well.

When it comes to pairings, as long as I can play some sort of creature/mutant/superhuman or a human that becomes any of the afformentioned I'm happy!

Concepts (rough ideas to be expanded with potential partners):
  • Modern Day Supernatural Setting
  • Sapphic rom-com vibes
  • Some action and drama
  • Most likely a Vampire x Werewolf pairing (I'm definitely open to other pairing ideas but this is the most fitting for the concept that I have)
  • "Friends to lovers" or "and they were roommates"
  • Potentially "Enemies to Lovers"
Concept Synopsis:
Character A and Character B are either roommates or best/close friends, or they can be both to be honest. Somehow, either together or on seperate occasions, each of them becomes a supernatural crature of some sorts (in my head one becomes a vampire and one becaomes a werewolf. This can be discussed. My character will most likely still become a werewolf though). I'm leaning towards these changes happening simultaneously or very close to one another. From there we would have to figure out deeper plot things aside from both freshly turned supernaturals learning how to navigate their new lives and this new world. Along with any feelings they might have for eachother, and any new feelings that may arise due to their new natures.

If we want to go with the "Enemies to Lovers" trope, we would have to discuss that and see how we can make it work.

The idea/concept of this plot is to mostly have fun. I'm looking for a lot of jokes and puns with cute and light-hearted moments in typical rom-com fashion. But I would also like to explore the darker more gritty side of the supernatural world. When your life kind of gets turned upside down in an unexpected way and the reality of the things one must do and overcome in order to survive. But also knowing that you are not in this alone. IF that explaination makes sense, if not, perhaps I could better describe/explain what I'm looking to explore for this concept in private messages if it is of interest to anyone!

Perhaps one of the characters is still discovering their sexuality? Although not nescesary we can come straight out of the gate with both characters knowing who they are.

  • Modern Day Setting
  • Action / Drama
  • Violence and Gore
  • Substance Abuse
  • Power Fantasy
Unfortunately I don't really have much here aside from an old character I am looking to revive and play around with. This character could definitely fit in a Dispatch / The Boys / Marvel / DC style world. Although I am hoping and aiming for a grittier vibe with her and sprinkling in a little bit of power fantasy.

The brief concept of this character is basically that she is a former superhero who has stepped away from super-heroics (maybe even long enough to have potentially been forgotten by the world) and has developed a rather serious addiction to a drug that nullifies her powers.

I don't wanna reveal too much more about her as there is a lot that could potentially change depending on the direction of the plot.

  • Victorian / Edwardian Supernatural Setting
  • Action / Drama / Horror / Mystery (?)
  • Violence and Gore
I only really have a few ideas for this, it is definitely in the very rough conceptualization stage so there is a lot of room to expand and build the idea with someone that may be interested in doing so.

The main idea is that the sideshow/traveling circus is run by some sort of witch/warlock or potentially even a demon as a Ringleader. Some select "main attractions" are supernatural beings/creatures while others are typical fare. The Ringleader has control over the acts in a sort of binding/magical way and that is how they can run their shows "safely" and without being exposed.

Perhaps the Ringleader is attempting to gain more power and the way to do this is via blood sacrifices or some other greusome ritual. Maybe on the last day of the show there is a mass slaughter of the audience, before they clean-up, pack up and move on. Laying low for a while before putting their show on the road again in the next poor unsuspecting town?

I think that for this specific idea we could go a few ways with our main characters.
  • They could both be acts in the show. Maybe they're both part of the "supernatural main attractions" and they're trying to find a way to escape?
  • One could be a supernatural act and the other is a human act? I think this pairing would also be an escape plan.
  • We could also have one character be a member of the audience while the other is part of the circus?
I'm leaning towards the concept that the Ringleader, beyond having physical control of everyone in the circus, they also have mental control over them too, being able to erase their memories or put them in some sort of trance-like state where they do the Ringleader's bidding, no questions asked and with no recollection of what they've all done.

Another idea that I have for this is that this particular circus is being investigated after the last time it appeared and most of a small town/village was slaughtered. Of course the traveling circus changes it's name every time it comes back, but there could've been a witness to what happened or a survivor from the last time?

And the last idea I have is that Character B (your character) comes to the circus for whatever reason they might have, but they soon discover that something is not right. Maybe it's because they have some sort of sensitivity to magic or the supernatural world and they just feel it. Maybe even some sort of sense of foresight/premonitions? Or it could also be because of some sort of tie-in with a past victim of the show.

Regardless of which way it goes, there's lots of room to play around with things for this plot and I'd love to expand on it with someone. I've pretty much got the idea of my character set as one of the "supernatural main attractions".

Pairings (pretty self explanitory):
If you are interested in playing some sort of god/demon/angel/omnipotent being please inform me in advanced. I have no qualms with my partner writing such a character. Just be prepared to write opposite an equally powerful/destructive character or a character that I will somehow create to eventually be on the same power-level.

*All the inhuman creatures mentioned on this list would be shape-shifters of some kind. They will always have a way to be in a human form for scenes of intimacy.

Plots (things I have come up with that are a little more fleshed out/set in stone):
  • Modern Day Supernatural Setting
  • Small-Town Americana vibes
  • Action and Drama
  • "Friends to lovers" or "and they were roommates"
Concept Synopsis:
Character A and Character B are roommates and best/close friends. Character A is a witch/warlock. A late-bloomer within their coven, but all the other members know that they have great potential within them and thus the coven patiently awaits for Character A to unlock their full power. As Character A decides to make a final attempt at one of the first rituals young coven-members are taught— summoning their familiar, they finally suceed. Character B is blind to the supernatural world that has existed alongside humanity since the dawn of time. It's no surprise that they are unaware of their best friend being a witch/warlock. When a mysterious symbol suddenly appears like a brand on Character B's neck and Character A recognizes it, will they decide to open Character B's eyes to a world that is kept secret from humans or will they try to find a way to break an unbreakable mystical bond?

So this is an older concept that I've run a few times but never managed to get very far in it. Of course everything mentioned here is open to discussion and can be tweaked and altered to fit whatever we would like in order to make the idea work best and have fun with it! This concept can be FxF or MxF. I'm interested in playing Character B for this idea. AND OF COURSE to no one's surprise I am looking to have Character B, the familiar, be a werewolf. In the past I've played with the idea of a werewolf familiar being a rare sight or some sort of omen in the world/lore, if that's something we'd like to delve into some more I am totally down!

If you're interested in this concept feel free to let me know!

AND WITH THAT I guess I should say, thank you for reading this, if you're interested in working on something with me feel free to PM me, I'm more likely to see that over a response to this thread BUT either works.

Hello all, it's been a while since I've added anything to this!

I have just recently started playing Dispatch, if you haven't had a chance to check it out I definitely recommend it, it is a great game! BUT with that being said, I am here because it has put me in the mood to write something involving Superheroes / Vigilantes / Mutants.

I do have some characters in the ol' pile that fit such roles and I would love to dust them off and tweak them or rework them to fit a fun rollercoaster of a story that will probably have some SoL elements sprinkled in.

If anyone is up for plotting or discussing something in this vein, please feel free to shoot me a message! Let's have some fun!!

Just posting a lil update here for those that may be interested in doing a modern day Superhero/Vigilante/Villain RP. I just re-discovered an old character of mind that I would like to try and expand on if anyone is interested in creating a plot with me! She could definitely fit in a Dispatch / The Boys / Marvel / DC style world.

I am aiming for a grittier vibe with her and playing with the concept of potentially sprinkling in a little bit of power fantasy.

The brief concept of this character is basically that she is a former superhero who has stepped away from super-heroics (maybe even long enough to have potentially been forgotten by the world) and has developed a rather serious addiction to a drug that nullifies her powers.

There are some things about her that I may have to go in and re-work depending on where a potential plot may go, but I don't wanna reveal too much more about her as a lot could potentially change.

SO! If anyone is interested in working on something that involves this character, feel free to shoot me a message! And please don't forget to check out my little intro post up above if you'd like to learn a lil bit more about me and my preferences.

Thanks everyone!
I look forward to writing with y'all!

Another concept has entered my brain that I think would be really fun to explore if anyone might be interested! I don't have much for it as it just recently crossed my mind but I'd like to explore the concept and setting of a sideshow/carnival/traveling circus. I think throwing some supernatural/fantasy and maybe even horror elements into it along with any sort of action/adventure or mystery points could be really fun!

Feel free to shoot me a message if this strikes your fancy!
