Greetings! It's been a long while since I've role played outside of a small group of people. Life has gotten busy for those I write with, and sadly, there hasn't been any role play in almost a year. I miss writing with other people, developing ideas, expanding stories, and really finding out where things can go. While we're still friends and talk frequently, their time to write sadly isn't there.
Who are you, how long have you been writing and what kind of things do you like to write?
My name is J. I am a 42 year old female from Central PA in the USA. I have been writing online for 26 years, and before that, I wrote pen and paper with a friend who also enjoyed writing and creating stories. Over the years, my tastes in writing has changed, and currently I find myself enjoying detailed stories, whether in a group, or person to person. I like stories that are ongoing, though I will write scenes too with my writing partner if they're craving something.
How long do your replies tend to be and what is your writing schedule like?
My replies fit the story that we're working on, and that moment in time. I prefer longer replies; a paragraph, multiple paragraphs, and longer, but there truly are times where one sentence is what is needed to move the scene along, and I'm okay with that too. I do not like chat replies where people put stage direction into brackets. I like detail, developing thoughts, emotions, dialog, the scene. Most of the time, as long as I can access the writing on my phone, I reply at least once a day, but usually more often. I understand people have lives, and I believe that if we're writing together, we're getting to know each other some too (two of my best friends started out as just people I wrote with randomly every now and again in online groups), that my partner(s) will share if they need more time or I'm moving to fast/to slow.
What is your tolerance level for gore? Violence?
I'm really not into Gore. It's not something I enjoy in my everyday life. I am fine with violence within reason.
Do you write sexual content? If so, what are your kinks? Limits?
I can and do. It's not the only part of the story I enjoy - I like porn with plots. I did create a list of kinks/limits on F-List to make it easier and cleaner than listing everything here.
Do you write any fandoms? (Please bear in mind that any characters under 18 and any high school settings must be aged up)
Yes. I have written Star Trek, The West Wing, and Frasier. I still write Once Upon a Time. I did write Harry Potter for many years, got away from it, and now really, really am enjoying it again. I do prefer the adults - or the grownup main characters.
Do you have any pairing or setting ideas?
Yes. Though I am open to other pairings, including original characters, my muse has gotten this one idea stuck in my head. Mind you I haven't fleshed this out greatly yet, and my muse keeps jumping from idea to idea so I'm open to exploring any of these idea, all of the ideas, or creating something else entirely.
Severus Snape/Narcissa Black Malfoy/Lucius Malfoy/Alexandria Malfoy (OC), Severus Snape/Narcissa Black Malfoy/Lucius Malfoy, Severus Snape/Narcissa Black Malfoy/Alexandria Malfoy (OC), Severus Snape/Alexandria Malfoy (OC), Narcissa Black Malfoy/Alexandria Malfoy (OC), Alexandria Malfoy (OC)/Remus Lupin, Alexandria Malfoy (OC)/Sirius Black.
My muse has been creating all different kinds of ideas about using an original character it created in various relationships, but set in a modified universe. After graduation, the war is more political than the violence that the books imply. Tom Riddle aka Lord Voldemort's goal is to return the Wizarding World to that of honoring Lady Magic and her 8 Fates that created and ruled the world. To return to the Old Ways. Dumbledore and the Light do not want this - this is what the war is about, a revolution to return to the ways of the past. Ways that include rituals, ceremonies, old holidays, sacrifices, bondings, and does not limit people to monogamous relationships but polyamorous - though both are celebrated.
Alexandria Malfoy is my muses original character, who can either be the daughter of Abraxas Malfoy and Tom Riddle who are lovers and create a child using ancient magic or the daughter of Abraxas Wife (Lucius's mother) and Tom Riddle as a way for Tom to secure a legacy. She is raised as the younger sister of Lucius either way, and though 6 years young, they are close. Both are supporters of the old ways, and both believe that family is everything. Alexandria is a Slytherin from the same year as Severus. By the time they graduate, she has become his best friend and he is under the mentorship of Lucius. They have drunken sex one night in the Hog's Head, and for whatever reason, Severus calls her a whore and tosses her out of the room after she admits to being in love with him. Neither mention to Lucius or Cissa what happened, and try to continue on as normal, though Severus is cooler. At some point in the two years after Draco is born - Severus enters a polyamorous relationship with Lucius and Cissa, knowing the feelings that Alexandria has for him - and he reciperates. That's as far as I got with that.
Alexandria Serafina Malfoy
Birthday: December 20th, 1959
House: Slytherin
Interests: Music - Piano and Violin, Magical History
Due to the nature of her birth, none of the magical universities will allow her to attend. She goes on to write History of Magic books under the name Alexandria Serafina, not telling anyone.
She's estranged from her brother (who she was very close to growing up) and his wife due to their growing relationship with Severus.
I've also played Belle French-Gold from OUAT and have created various cursed personalities for her, including a cut throat lawyer for a Criminal Mastermind (Walsh) in the Hyperion Heights universe with Gideon being her hidden son from Rumpelstilskin's Weaver.
Do you have any detailed plots prepared?
I have a few that I'll happily share with you. Both fandom and an original one
Do you have any characters you want to write? (Our character forum is here if you want a dedicated thread)
Alexandria Malfoy (OC)
Elowyn Riddle (OC)
Any additional notes you want to add?
I love writing, and I love taking a base form of a character and developing their background and story through the roleplay with my partner(s). It really makes for more creative use if you find someone out about a character as you're going instead of having every last detail mapped out. That feels more rigid and doesn't allow for exploration and story development.
