hi guys, it's me, talia. i'm hoping to find a few roleplay partners today! here's to the fact that i'm bored and lonely, yay!!
firstly, i want long and detailed replies. yes, you could call me shallow for believing in quantity over quality. however, i believe that when it comes to roleplay, longer replies (3+ paragraphs) tend to have much more substance, it's almost like quality and quantity go hand in hand. that's why i will insist on my partner having long replies. secondly, i really want ooc chatter between the two of us. i can't emphasise how important planning is to me. i like setting "plot points" for both of us during the roleplay, so we have something to work towards to. thirdly, i like daily replies, but they aren't necessary. i understand that daily replies can be hard for some us, but i'm not going to sacrifice a good roleplay partner just for that! so if you're a little slow at times, i can tolerate that. but i do expect you to tell me beforehand! fourthly, smut talk. smut is fun, it really is, but for my romance plots, they're not going to be focused entirely on smut. unless it calls for it. otherwise, there will be smut, but not too much. how much exactly can be discussed.
okay, great. i've set my expectations. time to spill the plots. fyi, i can do both fxf and fxm as long as i'm playing the female! let's do this.
1. (i have yet to think of a smart title) - the main theme: lies, deception, wedding
after several years of failed romantic relationships of their choosing, mc resigns to follow through with an arranged marriage set up by his parents many years ago. yc, the sister of the intended bride, arrives 1 month before the wedding is to take place with the daunting task of informing mc and his family that the intended bride has married already and that there won't be a wedding– except when yc and mc meet for the 1st time, yc becomes smitten and can't quite break the news that she isn't the bride.
2. (i have yet to think of a smart title) - the main theme: betrayal, plot twist, forbidden, taboo
mc is a hard-working fashion photographer who's accustomed to taking quality head shots for aspiring models. yc contacts mc to set up a shoot, supposedly to flesh out his portfolio; in reality, yc's motives are more sinister. the photo shoot starts out innocently enough, in the downtown loft mc rents for work purposes. mc takes several stunning shots of yc who confesses to having zero experience nor ambition toward modelling as times passes. mc confused, but also intrigued when yc begins to disrobe, insisting that it might be fun if mc took risque photos of her. mc doesn't usually do that sort of thing as his professional reputation is very important to him, but yc is quite persuasive.
shortly after their session concludes, mc and yc having fooled around, yc unexpectedly resurfaces at a fashion event that mc is attending. displeased to see mc with a date on his arm, yc pulls the photographer aside to threaten him, promising to tell her own significant other, a vicious criminal, that mc manipulated her into taking the risqué photos. mc is appalled; he didn't even know that yc was in a relationship and it wasn't his idea to take those photos to begin with! unaffected by mc's shock, yc demands a romantic affair with mc or else she'll spill to their significant other and mc'll have more to worry about than his professional reputation. i have so many plot twists in mind for this plot, so just hit me up!

mc is a police officer who doesn't exactly go by the book, in fact he probably spends more time cavorting with criminals than capturing them. when mc finds himself romantically entangled with yc, a criminal, it's easy for him to turn a blind eye to yc's illicit activities (especially when yc's boss puts mc on a special payroll for keeping their business off police radar). over time, mc is welcomed into yc's crime family, so long as he leaves his badge at home.
this year, mc is up for a promotion - it's so close that he can taste it. if he can arrest a notorious boss, he's certain that the promotion is his. no problem. mc can simply hand over one of his lover's enemies, right? as mc is scheming, the police chief calls a meeting. the chief unveils the newest person-of-interest, expressing in no uncertain terms that this is the perpetrator they want brought down next. mc is conflicted when he immediately recognizes the person-of-interest as yc's relative/boss, someone whom he's sat across from at the dinner table on several occasions, someone very dear to yc, someone who will go after everyone in mc's family if there's even a suspicion of betrayal.

mc, a tenacious crime boss, is frustrated by yet another news headline about a big crime bust in the city which has ties to his own illicit operations. it seems that the mayor's been making good on his promise to eradicate crime as of late (probably because he's looking to run for senator in the upcoming elections) and that ultimately spells trouble for mc. it's only a matter of time before someone from the mayor's camp comes sniffing around mc's nightclub, which operates as a front for his money laundering, but mc wants the mayor dealt with before that happens. as fate would have it, mc isn't the only one who wants the mayor gone.
yc, the mayor's child, sees right through the tele-prompted speeches, contrived family photo ops, and the empty promises of a crime-free city. yc has seen and heard their father conducting his own illegal practices and knows firsthand that the mayor is not a good man. yc has lost all respect for his corrupt father and only feels disdain and fear toward him. it's by coincidence that yc enters mc's nightclub after a volatile confrontation with their father, but it isn't a coincidence when mc recognizes yc and invites her to the vip area to talk. in this secluded area of the club, yc spills all of her concerns to mc and mc offers protection in exchange for information. yc agrees to spy on their father for mc with the understanding that, at the opportune moment, mc will get rid of the mayor. however, things aren't as they seem for yc, because there's a whole part of the plan that mc has not revealed to her, which includes her facing the same fate as her father: death.
