Hello everyone! I am too lazy to make a very fancy code just for one plot, so please pretend that this post has makeup on.
I'm Sid, and I'm looking to get back into role-playing by seeking a partner for one very specific idea. Before I get into it, here are a few important things to know about me:
1. Frequency Of Posting
Like a lot of people, I struggle with my mental health. Because of that I can't guarantee I will reply on a consistent schedule, both IC and OOC. Because of this I ask for your patience! If I don't like the RP or want to drop, I'll let you know, but when my mental health takes a dip, I may go quiet for a while. I just want everyone to know this up front because I realize (and completely understand) that it's a deal breaker for a lot of people.
That being said, when I'm really into an RP and in a Writing Zone I can reply multiple times a day.
2. Patience - For You (+ Ghost Friendly)
How could I expect patience from others when I'm not patient myself? Take all the time you need to reply; I will never rush you. I'm even ghost/drop friendly, so no hard feelings if you just don't feel like role-playing anymore. Maybe you do the same thing I do and come back a few months after total silence and say, 'hey wanna continue our RP?' And the answer 99% of the time will probably be 'yes'!
If that hasn't scared you away, let's move on to some more fun things...
THE PLOT:
Warnings: nonsexual violence/gore, violent (possibly bloody) sex, any variety of dark subject matter you would like to include
Searching for a roughly 50/50 plot:sex ratio. Kinks and such up for discussion, I am open to most things! (Limits listed later in this post.)
MC is a very troubled man who just received a terminal diagnosis. Upon learning that his life will be cut short, he decides that he no longer has anything left to lose, and will act on his fantasies: exacting violent revenge on the people and systems that have made his life hell.
As for YC, there's a couple of roads we could go down: YC was an accidental witness to one of MC's murders, but instead of being frightened, he sees MC as a hero, and being troubled and aimless himself, 'kidnaps' himself (AKA just opts to follow MC around like a duckling). Basically, he becomes MC's groupie despite MC not wanting him there at all and finding him a nuisance.
If we wanted to go the supernatural route, YC could be his guardian angel, desperate to try and get him to stop going down this dark path (only to potentially be corrupted himself). Or he could be a vampire, and they strike up a mutually beneficial arrangement where YC agrees to help MC stay undetected, as long as he can feed off of MC's targets before he kills them.
If the concept appeals to you and you have another dynamic in mind, I would also love to hear it!
MC will be a top (stoic and firm and also easily goaded into being dominant and, sometimes, violent, but since I love dom bottoms so much I'm also up for him being a service top to YC).

Just some stuff I think is important to note.
Collaboration
I like to collaborate and brainstorm with my partners. Let's swap ideas and build off of each other. I don't like making all the decisions myself -- otherwise I'd just write a story!
Communication
I value open communication about the progress of our RP! If something's not going right, or you can't understand what I've written, or you want to ask any question at all, please don't hesitate to ask me. This should be fun for both of us.
Multiple Characters
I usually prefer to focus on two characters + NPCs to start off with, but I'm certainly willing to brainstorm other characters as the story develops. However please note I do NOT role-play M/F under any circumstances; M/M (preferred) and F/F (inexperienced but open) only.
Face Claims
Whatever you're comfortable with. All I ask is that if we go with real people/photographs, you don't choose an A-list actor because I will never be able to see your character instead of just Famous Actor Man lol.
Writing Style
Right now I am looking for some easy role-plays; I have a propensity to write long posts, but that can get kind of stressful to keep up with, so I'm not looking to put any pressure on myself (or on my partner). I also think it's easier to set a good pace when responding to just one or two actions per post.
That being said, sometimes I can't help myself, so if I do throw a 6+ paragraph reply out at you, please don't be intimidated! I don't expect that much from my partners. All I ask is at least one paragraph, and enough action to easily respond to. I only write in third person, but I'm happy to write in either past or present tense.

I'll place the most relevant stuff beneath this handy-dandy spoiler tag, but I'm generally pretty open to things.
Laidback:
I don't take role-playing seriously! It's just a fun lil hobby. I don't expect perfection from you and I'd appreciate it if you don't expect it from me, either. I love being able to banter and have fun with my partners. It's no fun if we're serious all the time. D: Also I truly don't care how you type OOC because trust me I type in lapslock and keysmashes and capslock when I'm comfortable with someone all the time.
