Hey there,

Looking for someone to play a Japanese guy (preferably a masculine bottom or bottom-leaning switch). I know, if you're aware of the historical relations between Japan and Korea, this is quite a controversial pairing...but what better way to bring in angst, amirite. Needless to say, this will be set in either contemporary Korea or Japan (or potentially elsewhere in the world - that's TBD) so the bygones won't at all be the focus of the story (though, it could be included too. It's very much optional.)

Requirements include:
  1. Be a literate writer - length doesn't really matter (in fact I'd prefer to stay under 500 words per reply so we can keep the story rollin)
  2. 3rd person, past tense - this is a must. Please also be consistent with it (rather than shifting from past to present tense halfway through the paragraph for example)
  3. Be communicative - I don't need us to be firing back replies everyday, but I do want our OOC chat to happen on a regular basis.
  4. Please don't ghost. Yes, we've all done it at some point - and I understand that sometimes the discussion can put you off (in which case do let me know) but if you want to drop it, just tell me.
  5. Have some knowledge of the Japanese culture/language. As for me, I can speak Korean and have been learning Japanese for a number of years. Why do I care about this? Because it'd be fun to explore intercultural miscommunication but also in general have them learn about one another's culture. But rest assured, the dialogue itself will obvs be in English (unless we want to include some Korean/Japanese phrases here and there.)
Possible ideas:
  • College exes meeting again for the first time in years
  • Two strangers on a working holiday/trip
  • Exchange student x Local student (this could be combined with the college exes, meaning we'll explore their relationship during college and after)
  • Exchange student x Local student (ft. homestay)
If you're interested, please drop me a DM! Looking forward to hearing from you :)
